Peter's POV
I feel like shit I've been back two days since I was rescued and I've had trouble sleeping due to the fact that every time I close my eyes I see everything HYDRA made me do in the past three months it also doesn't help that the mattress is way too comfy so i'll mostly sleep on the ceiling it's somehow comforting.
Tony says I have to go back to school next week. Which is only four days away. Sadly the only thing I have to cover my arm is long sleeves and a glove Tony hasn't found any other options so I guess that's what I've got. I appreciate everyone here so much. Especially Bucky he has helped me through nightmares so far. After all, he was the original Winter Soldier. He understands what I'm going through. I haven't been able to actually eat food that often since I've only been eating once a week for the past four months. I'm slowly recovering my strength and general health. I'm very lucky that everyone is here for me. Monday will be the first time I've seen Ned since I was kidnapped. Luckily no one really knows I was kidnapped besides Ned, MJ, and of course everyone who lives in the tower. I haven't really left my room all day and I'm kinda hungry so I'm going to go get some waffles from downstairs. I push myself out of bed and walk to the main floor where the waffles are. I walk in and there is Bucky watching some program on the tv
"Hi, Bucky what are you watching?"
"Hey, Pete I'm watching a documentary on sea turtles. What are you doing?"
"That's cool. I'm making myself some waffles."
"Waffles are always a good choice."
Bucky goes back to watching his sea turtle video and I open the freezer and grab two ego waffles and plop them in the toaster.
"Friday where is Tony?"
"Tony is in his personal lab."
"Thanks, Friday."
As soon as my waffles are done I take them out of the toaster and start heading to Tony's lab.
After stepping out of the elevator I see Tony at his workstation working on something and of course AC/DC is playing loudly I walk behind Tony to see what he's working on.
"Hey Tony what are you working on."
Tony jumps and spins around to face me,
"Holy shit kid you scared me."
"You're welcome. Anyway, what are you working on?"
"I don't know. I'm just tinkering right now."
"That's cool. Do we have any plans for today?"
"No, not really. If you want to you could go visit Ned I know he missed you a lot."
"Sounds like a plan I'll call him."
I exit the workshop and head up to my room to get my phone. I pick up my phone from where it was laying on my nightstand and call Ned.
It rings twice and then Ned picks up
"Ohmygoshpeterareyouokay?!?"
"Ned slow down I'm fine. I'm calling to see if I can come hang at your place for a bit?"
"Yeah of course but what's with the accent?"
"I'll explain when I get to your house. I'll be there in a few. Bye"
I hang up and I rush down the stairs leaving the tower from the back entrance.
Time skip to Ned's house bc I'm lazy
I step up to the door and knock. Almost immediately Ned opens the door.
"Hey, Peter! Oh my frick what happened to your arm?"
"I'll tell you when we are inside."
Once we get inside I explain the whole situation to him. How I lost my arm where I've been the past few months why I have a Russian accent when I speak.
Ned's mouth is agape when I finish telling him everything that happened of course not going into detail about the murder and the torture.
"So you are fluent in Russian?"
"Yep" is that all he heard from that... I murdered people.
"Cool. What do you want to do now?"
"Umm, I don't know. While we think of something want to catch me up on school stuff and what I've missed."
"Yeah sure."
I'm so lucky to have such a good friend. I thought for sure he was going to lose it when he found out where I've been. But he didn't
