"Connor! Wait what are you doing here?" I was surprised at his sudden appearance and got on my feet the moment he spoke up.

"Are you crying? Why are you crying?" He asked with great worry. I was crying? Well this didn't turn out good. I sniffed back as tears finally stopped flowing and I wiped my entire face with the back of my hands and replied, "It doesn't matter, don't waste your time on me. I'm fine, really," I grabbed my things scattered on the grass and looked at him; his face scrunched up in curiosity.

"Oh for crying out loud Penny! Stop lying and stop pretending that you're okay!" He shouted at me, so I flinched and was taken aback at what he said. I bowed down my head and hid my face under the locks of my hair. He walked swiftly to me and held both my shoulders, then engulfed me in a firm hug.

"For serious, what's wrong?" He retrieved from the hug and asked as we sat down on the swings. "Well... it's just that, I really like this guy and I know for sure he doesn't like me back," I said.

When he heard that, he frowned and his eyes were glistening; he asked, "Who is this guy?"

I didn't reply. Only silence filled the conversation. Suddenly I stood up and just before I ran off, I mumbled something which I knew I regretted that I did. That is to confess.

"You."

I walked away as fast as I can. As I arrived at my cousin's flat, I opened the door and ran upstairs immediately to grab one of my small suitcases and started throwing in it my essentials. I didn't worry about packing my clothes because I didn't really unpack all of my stuff when I came here, well considering I am a lazy being. Leaving a note beside my bed, I hurriedly went through the back door so no one would hear nor notice me escaping. Good thing Connor didn't come home before I left. On the note was written:

Dear Jems,

I'm sorry I have to do this, but I just need some time alone, to think. You know how I am when I have problemos, yeah? If you want some explaining, I'm sure Connor have some answers. And hey, don't even bother coming after me, okay? xx

From: Penny

I roamed to the front yard and hailed a cab. Soon enough the cab noticed me and as I get in, I heard someone shouting my name, running towards me. I quickly shut the car close and shouted a 'Hurry' to the driver. I looked behind and saw Connor running after me.

Call me 'over-reacting' or 'too dramatic' but hey, this is me, too afraid to face her problems. I'm 'Miss Runaway,' and mostly running away from all the bullshit is my only choice to feel okay again, even for a little.

I was interposed by the driver asking for the destination I'm heading for. I then thought quickly and replied, "train station please."

Yes, I'm going to take the train and get off somewhere. So I have realized that I am going to be Dora the Explorer throughout the whole trip. I'm not Penny for today!

I paid the driver as I arrived at the station and vamoosed. The strange part is that the station was like, abandoned. There was no one, well except for one janitor and two security guards. I walked up to the counter but it turns out they were packing up and cleaning. As the woman dropped a box on the floor, she saw me and walked up to me. "I'm sorry miss, but the stations are closed until the next day due to some maintenance needed."

Crap. I am so damn lucky. Sense the sarcasm will you?

"Oh," I sighed, "sorry, thanks." I walked away and thought of a plan on where to stay for the night so I walked the distance to find a hotel. When I found one I immediately ran inside and booked a room, as I was physically exhausted. And well, emotionally.
