The two quickly stand up and look at the direction the horse came from. With one glance at each other, the two quickly run towards the noise.
As soon as they are a few yards from their original spot, a horse runs straight past them. The two glance at each other worriedly, before continuing to their destination.
As soon as they reach where the noise came from they stop in their tracks. Two people are being pulled into the water while another person is holding a sword over them
"What are two kids like you doing out here huh?" Asks the person holding the sword over them.
The two don't answer as they struggle to stay over the water.
"Answer me you twats!" Yells the person.
"We have to help them!" Whisper yells Jeonghan as him and Seungcheol hide behind a bush a few feet from the clearing.
"What can we do? This is older times. As soon as we get out there they will know we are not from here and kill them and probably us." Seungcheol whispers to him.
"So then what do we do?" Whispers Jeonghan.
"We wait and hopefully Namjoon comes in time," Seungcheol says grabbing Jeonghan's arm as it looks like he's about to sprint out.
"Leave us alone!" Yells Chan.
"Who are you to speak to me?" Spats the person.
"What do you want?" Chan asks.
"I ask the questions around here!" Says the person before smirking. "But I guess I will answer this one."
He nods to one of the people on standby and the person walks over to one of the horses and pulls something out of his satchel. He then brings the object back to the person who snatched it from their hands.
"Have you seen this person." The person puts a paper with a printed drawing on it in front of the two.
"No." Says Samuel quickly
"Sure doesn't seem like it." Says the person. "Say tell us where he is and we will let you go free and unharmed."
"We told you we don't know him." Chan grits out.
"Did you talk back to me?" The person asks.
He crouches down to get a better view of the two in the water. Something from behind pushes Chan forward so that he's only a few feet away from the man.
"I mean that's kind of how you talk to people." Chan shoots back.
The man growls and looks back at his men. They share an unspoken word and then Chan is pushed down into the water.
"Chan!" Yells Samuel.
"Tell me where he is and your friend can live." Says the man smirking.
"We told you we don't know him!" Samuel panics.
"Quit ly—" The person starts but is cut off.
"Sir!" Yells one of his companions
A knife flies by slicing the companions cheek
"Who goes there!" Yells the man as he pushes his companion off.
Jeonghan and Seungcheol jump out of the trees and point their weapons at them.
"Let them go." Grits out Jeonghan.
"And who are you?" Asks The man as he stands up.
"None of your business." Says Seungcheol.
