Chapter 22: Whats Next?

"Seungcheol hyung has some news, and it's not good," Chan says.

"What is it?" Asks Seokmin.

"It's about your family," Chan says.

"What?" Seokmin asks shocked.

"I don't know either. We just got some secret message that we don't know how to decode, but I can tell it says something about you and your family." Chans says.

Before Chan can say anything Seokmin is already out the door. Chan and Jisoo quickly follow.

Seokmin races down the stairs and into the family room where Seungcheol, Jeonghan, Seungkwan, and Soonyoung are currently in.

"What is it?" Seokmin quickly asks.

Jeonghan doesn't say anything but hands him a photo. Seokmin looks at the photo and sees a dead body facing upwards, blood pooling from his chest. Tears start falling out of his eyes as he realizes who it is.

"Where did you find this?" Seokmin asks.

"Me and Seungkwan went to search the perimeter, a messenger bird dropped this and left." Jeonghan explains.

Seokmin flips it over and sees one simple word put in the corner:

Kakmin

Jisoo and Chan walk into the room at that moment and stare in confusion.

"What happened?" Chan asks. "What was the thing that came?"

None of them answer so they are more confused than before. Seokmin leaves the room without a word.

"What happened? Why did Seokmin walk out crying?" Asks Mingyu as him, Wonwoo, and Jihoon walk in.

"Kakmin happened." Soonyoung answers as him and Seungkwan walk out to talk to Seokmin.

"Who?" Mingyu questions.

"Seokmin's twin, catch up." Jihoon says.

"Ok jeez." Mingyu says.

"What did he do?" Asks Wonwoo.

"Seokmin's father is dead. Kakmin sent a photo with only his name on it." Jeonghan says deep in thought.

"So what now?" Asks Jisoo.

"We shouldn't be so easily played. He wants the diamond, we shouldn't let him get it." Jeonghan says, he then turns to face Seungcheol. "What do you think?"

"I say we give him what he wants." Seungcheol says after a while of silence.

"Are you crazy?" Jeonghan says.

"No, but I feel it's best we should give him what he wants." Seungcheol says shrugging.

"Not in your damn mind are we giving him the diamond." Jeonghan says storming out.

They all stare at him and then turn to Seungcheol. He shrugs and walks out of the room.

Wonwoo just silently walks out of the room without saying anything.

"Where are the others?" Asks Chan.

"Samuel's outside." Mingyu says.

"But I asked for all of them?" Chan questions.

"Sure you did." Mingyu teases.

Chan roles his eyes but goes outside anyway.

"Why is everyone so mad?" Asks Jun as he comes in.

"This is all just a huge mess. We're all turning against each other." Mingyu says.

"And we'll have to." Jihoon points out.

"Do we really have to?" Mingyu asks after a moment of silence.

"Orders are orders." Jun says.

"I know." Mingyu sighs.

Soonyoung and Seungkwan look around for Seokmin. They don't find him anywhere inside so they decide to go outside.

"Didn't you live here for a while as well?" Seungkwan asks.

"Yeah but only for like two months then my family had to go back. But I think I might know where he is hiding." Soonyoung says.

"Then lead the way." Seungkwan says.

Soonyoung and Seungkwan walk through the field and all the way down to the riverside. There they spot Seokmin throwing stones into the lake while sitting on the grass.

"You ok?" Asks Soonyoung as him and Seungkwan sit on each side of him.

"I don't know. I feel sad, but not as sad as I feel i should feel." Seokmin sighs.

"It's ok, we understand. It takes a while for the mind to wrap around this." Seungkwan says patting his back.

"Yeah." Seokmin says pulling out the picture. "Does one of you have a lighter?"

"Why do you need a lighter?" Soonyoung asks confused but pulls one out anyway.

"Why do you have one is the real question?" Seungkwan asks.

"You never know, for emergencies." Soonyoung says as he hands it to Seokmin.

Seokmin grabs it and turns on the fire.

"What are you going to do?" Seungkwan questions.

"See what's written on here." Seokmin simply says standing up.

"But isn't only Kakmin's name on it?" Soonyoung asks.

"Me and Kakmin had a secret code or something from when we were best friends." Seokmin says.

"So what do you do?" Seungkwan asks.

"This." Seokmin says.

He puts the photo above the flame and slowly brings it closer to the flame. As soon as the flame touches a bit of the picture it quickly sets ablaze, Seokmin quickly throws into the water.

The three stare as the photo sinks into the water. Nothing happens for a little until an explosion is heard and all three jump. Suddenly clouds cover the sky making the place dark. They look around and then back down to the water where it starts glowing. Words start appearing on the water in glowing blue letters.

Bring the diamond and yourself to SM or guess who's next?

In the blink of an eye the letters disappear but the clouds stay. The photo slowly comes back up and Seokmin picks it up.

"Woah." They all say in shock.

"Is it always like that?" Seungkwan asks.

"It's different every time." Seokmin says.

"He uses witchcraft." Soonyoung suddenly says.

"Yeah." Seokmin nods.

"So what are we going to do?" Asks Seungkwan. "We can't give the diamond up."

"And we won't." Seokmin says.

"But why does he want you?" Soonyoung says.

"I don't know." Seokmin says.

Tears start falling down his face. He hugs the other two and all three of them hug.

"So then he really is dead." Seokmin cries out.

I tried making it as interesting as I could, but don't worry interesting stuff are coming soon, probably the things you've all been waiting for.
