*Sam POV*

I wondered what happen to his parents I haven't met them at the party so I assumed the worst. Lifting my head to hearing his void barely make out he words. Why was he so scared? Did he think I would run away? I loved him which was a big step for me.

"Sam, my dad was killed in a rogue attack and my mother couldn't take the pain anymore. She missed her mate more than anything. She got depressed and hung herself where her and my dad first met. I was forced to take over Alpha position once they were both gone, I was 17." he buried his head into my neck. I felt his pain. He didn't seem like the kind of guy that took pain seriously but he was hurting. I hugged him and kissed his temple.

"Tyler? I love you no matter what I wouldn't leave you over your past. You didn't leave me? I don't want to lose you Tyler." I whispered into his ear.

He took his head out of my neck and kissed me. His lips weren't hungry it was a sweet kiss. Falling asleep in his arms like usually I felt whole. He was honest with me. We had no secrets. Was I ready to complete the mating? I already knew the answer as I drifted off into my peaceful sleep with no nightmares.

Waking up to my mate sleeping soundly beside me I giggled at his sleepy face. I guess my giggles woke him up and he groaned.

"What are you laughing at?" he said in a raspy voice as he snuggled into me.

"Oh I see the big bad alpha loves to cuddle." I spoke in a baby voice while he growled at me. "Don't you growl at me mister!" I squealed. Before I knew it I was pinned under him with out foreheads touching.

"Do you want me to show you what the big bad alpha can do?" he said in a husky voice that drove me crazy. But two can play at this game. Biting my lip I took my knee and rubbed it against his growing erection. Smirking I slipped out from under him and ran out the door.

Hearing angry growls from behind me I ran into the kitchen and hid behind the counter. I saw him run by and I laughed at his stupidity. Turning around to go make some breakfast I was now pushed and pinned against the counter with my angry lustfilled mate staring at me.

"And you thought I was stupid." he spoke in his cocky alpha tone which made me shiver. His husky voice was such a turn on. My next words drove him mad. Did I regret it? Not one bit.

"You think I'm scared of you alpha? Think again." the seductive tone in my voice made his eyes turn pitch black. Before he had a chance to take me right then and there a peppy voice echoed through the kitchen!

"Hey you two!" spoke a happy morning Crystal. I didn't know if I was happy or upset that she walked in. But it was obvious Tyler wasn't happy at all.

His head shot over to Crystal giving her a death glare.

"Alpha I'm going to have to borrow your beautiful mate to take her shopping!" she cheered and I wasn't exactly excited because I liked wearing Tyler's clothes but needed some of my own. Putting my hand on Tyler's chest I pushed him lightly and gave him a gentle smile.

"I'll be back later okay and maybe we can finish this later?" I kissed his cheek as I winked and walked over to Crystal. She looped her arm around mine and walked out of the kitchen.

"We definitely have to buy you something for him!" She winked at me while my cheeks got all hot. Before I knew it we were in the car and off to the mall.
