Bucky- Nightmare

—You see Bucky having a nightmare and you go to comfort him—

You had been doing paperwork for S.H.I.E.L.D for the past 4 hours, and you hadn't stopped. It was just continuous work all day. You had gone to your shared bedroom and watched as your boyfriend slept quietly. You smiled and went and grabbed a drink of water, thinking, a break wouldn't hurt. You sighed as the cool liquid went down your strained throat, from groaning and screaming lowly which made your throat strained.

As you took another sip you heard quiet screams coming from the bedroom.
You walked in again and saw Bucky had kicked off the sheets and he was sweating profusely. He screamed out Steve's name as well as yours and started crying. His body was all hot and he was fidgeting, his head turning and shaking just as much. You ran to him and shook him lightly.

"Bucky wake up!" You yelled. His eyes open and he was shocked, nearly punching you out. You dodge and try to calm him down. He tries to kick you and punch you but you're able to dodge every move somehow.

"James calm down! It's just me!" You said, hugging him tightly. He stopped as he felt your warmth and hugged you back.

"Y/N) I'm s-sorry" he sobbed. You patted down his long locks and and kissed his forehead.

"Did you want to tell me what happened?" You asked. He nodded slowly in your chest and looked up at you.

"I-I h-had a dream where I-I was back in G-Germany, being tortured by the Hydra. I couldn't find Steve, o-or you. I-I felt alone" he said, tearing up once more.

"Oh Bucky" You cooed. He looked at you and kissed you lightly.

"I'm scared you'll leave me because of this" Bucky mumbled, looking at his mechanical arm. "I feel like you're scared of it, of me."

"You know I'll never leave you Bucky. I love you so much" you said, kissing his forehead. You felt his heart beat slow down slightly from his faster pace from before. His sobs died down to hiccups and sniffles and you smile at him.

"I love you too, so much (Y/N). Please don't leave me" Bucky said. He was never the type to be so quiet and soft. He was rarely upset as well.

"I won't leave you Bucky. I promise you" you said.

"You're the best boyfriend I've ever had" he mumbled, smiling like a goof.

"I'm the ONLY boyfriend you've ever had" You chuckled.

He laughed and kissed you again, only this time it was more meaningful and soft.

"I know" he smiled.
