The Most Pleasant Thing to Hear

Bei Er Duo felt a bit embarrassed to go join the dinner and be the freeloader. She just agreed to go to karaoke. She came over after the dinner. She went to the nearest supermarket, she bought a handmade essential oil aromatherapy candle for He Yang as a present since she didn't want to go with empty-handed.

When she arrived, she called Ye Shu Wei. Ye Shu Wei came out to pick her up, then they both went to the private room. Bei Er Duo looked around the room, inside there were He Yang, Zhen Zhi Ling, Gao Xian Yin, Huo Xiao Tong, and two familiar faces.

Bei Er Duo smiled and greeted all of them. She then took a little present from her bag and gave it to He Yang.

He Yang was very surprised: "You are too formal. It just a karaoke, you really don't need to prepare any presents."

"It's not an expensive thing. It just for me to express my regard. Happy birthday, I wish you have a happy one."

He Yang thanked her, and didn't forget to mock Ye Shu Wei: "Your girlfriend is more sensible than you."

Ye Shu Wei just drank his mineral water and didn't say anything.

Bei Er Duo looked at him silently, just in time, he raised his eyes and their gaze met each other. She clearly noticed that his eyes were questioning her "Why did you need to spend money to give present to him?". Bei Er Duo just nodded seriously, to state that this is an absolutely necessary matter.

Everyone started to sing in turns. Zhen Zhi Ling asked Bei Er Duo about what song does she like to sing. Bei Er Duo mentioned she fond of Eason Chan's songs.

She started to sing, everyone was stunned and clapped for her.

Bei Er Duo sang a few more songs because of their persuasion.

She sang until her throat was a bit dry, and just noticed that Ye Shu Wei hadn't even sing one song.

"Why don't you choose a song?"

"I don't want to sing." He said.

"Is it because your voice is not good?" Bei Er Duo smiled, "Don't you be inferior with it, just try it."

He lowered his head and played with his phone, he showed his mood was very indifferent: "I'm not interested."

Seeing his response, Bei Er Duo grumbled "Hard to deal".

The coca cola is too sweet, after drinking two bottles, Bei Er Duo felt a bit greasy. She stood up and took water on the corner of the table.

When she drank it, a person came over.

"Bei Er Duo, before you are roaring when you sang, now you feel thirsty right?" Hui Xiao Tong smiled.

After that formal dinner, Bei Er Duo knew there was something wrong with her. When she just entered the room before, Huo Xiao Tong didn't say anything. She didn't expect her to come over and talk to her.

"Em. I feel a bit thirsty." Bei Er Duo said.

Hui Xiao Tong nodded, and asked: "Oh right, how is the development of your relationship? What step are you now? Have you meet his family?"

Just in time, Zhen Zhi Ling was singing Jolin Tsai's song. Her voice was very big, almost covered Huo Xiao Tong's voice. Bei Er Duo took the opportunity to pretend to not hear it.

Huo Xiao Tong thought she really couldn't hear her. Her red lips approached Bei Er Duo's ear and said with a loud roar: "Have you meet Ye Shu Wei's family?!"

In a flash, Bei Er Duo felt her eardrum was pricked for a while, she moved away a bit: "Don't you say too loud."

"I'm afraid you couldn't hear me, I just asked if you have met his family?" Hui Xiao Tong laughed meanly.
