When O.R comes back from the kitchen, she is holding two mugs that do not look very sanitary, she tells me about O.F. "O.F has been missing for 7 years. And 7 years she will always be missing."she says. "What do you mean 'will always be missing for 7 years?'"I ask. "Oh never mind that,"she says, waving her hand in the air. "I can't just not mind something that might be very important! This situation is a matter of life and death-literally!"I say. "I SAID NO!"she screams. I jump at this sudden outburst and then I get chills because her voice went from sing-songy to demonic. I also haven't forgotten that her eyes are like liquidy black. I cannot make eye contact-when I do, I feel like she is looking into my soul. Which sounds weird, but, it's true. "Honey! You need to calm down!"I say. "She has been missing for a while is what I meant to say."says O.R.
"Deep breaths"I say. "In and out"I breathe in and out very slowly, relaxing my breathing. "I'm relaxed enough, thank you."she says. I open one eye. "What makes you think I'm talking to you?"I ask her. She looks slightly flustered at this but quickly re-gains her blank face. "I'm doing this to calm me down. I was kidnapped over 7 weeks ago, told I was to be tested on soon, had someone try to kill me with a syringe, then I got told I would die if I didn't find some person who could not even be real, now I'm in some strange person's home sitting on their moldy, musty couch behind an evil and demonic door-so I was told."I say. "I think I'm the one that needs to be calm right now-thank you".
"Your welcome"she answers. I actually open my eyes to roll them then close them again because of this. "O.F went missing about 7 years ago, as I was saying. She was a very mean, evil, dark person. Like everyone here-it's only natural"O.R says. "Some people say she ran off with some guy and eloped. Some say she died. Some say her spirit haunts us and that's the cause of having bad dreams at night. Huh! I think. I'd have a bad dream just looking at these people. I bet the smell is much worse than their souls. "Did you hear me?"asks O.R. "Hu-what?"I say. "Don't tell me I just spent the last minute talking and you weren't even listening!"she says. "Oh no-I was listening. I was just thinking at the same time."I answer. "What were you thinking about?"she asks. "Just-just nothing really."I say. "Okay"she says looking at me suspiciously.
"So-how do we find her?"I ask. "Well, lucky for you, I know what actually happened to her. We were once very good friends."she said. "I'm not lying. We were friends once. Once. We did all the normal things friends do around here. We killed anything with color, we had sleepovers and had to kill the one that fell asleep first. Except we would always stay awake the whole night! Oh those were the good old days."she says this like killing people for fun was like winning the lottery. "And then-"she starts but I cut her off. "I never said you were lying. I believe you. Which is weird because I don't even believe my Mom when she says she's not sitting on the T.V remote. Huh, isn't it weird that all trust is lost when looking for the remote?"I ask. O.R just looks at me like I have five heads and am speaking a different language. "Never mind"I sigh. "So, what actually happens to O.F?"I ask. "Well. She went off-traveling. She wanted to find land and start her own home. That's it just a home. A home for lost boys and girls who didn't have parents. She wanted to teach them her ways. I guess that was the good in her. She wanted to take in those who were lost. But that's how I know there's a hint of good in everyone. If she, O.F , wanted to do something like that than I knew that someone as evil as her could do some good. Anyone any amount of evil that someone does I know what there's a hint of good in them."she concludes. I process this all for a moment. "Where is this Home?"I ask. This question seems to break O.R out of the trance she was in. "Oh the Home! Well that's simple. It's right in between this twin mountains. "Twin mountains?"I ask. "Yes, twin mountains. You'll see them as soon as you walk out"she says. "Walk out?"I ask. "Yes. You can't stay here. I've gotten children to pick up from school and a husband who should be on his way home." She answers. Children? Husband? "You're married?!"I ask. "Yes"she says. "Oh.Well I was not expecting this"I say, shocked. She ushers me out of the house. "Wait, what time is it?"I ask. "It's only 3 in the afternoon."says O.R. "What!"I shriek. "When I left and came here, it was at least 7pm!"I say. "Well, not here"O.R says. "Goodbye! Be careful- and the twin mountains are right there. You can hardly see anything here because it's so dark."she says. I let my eyes adjust and I see two mountains beside each other. They are huge!
