~Monday~
Haneul stretched and turned off her alarm. She wasn't looking forward to another week of boring work. And she still hadn't seen Namjoon there yet. Swinging a leg over the side of her mattress, she savored those last warm moments and reluctantly made up her bed and finally let go of the furry blanket she clutched.
Hastily shoving cereals into her mouth, she swiped on some quick mascara and hurried out the door. As she was making her way to her car, she noticed an unfamiliar Toyota in front of the apartment building with a very familiar person inside it. Namjoon?
He beckoned Haneul over to his car and she opened the door. "What are you doing here?" She asked, not unkindly.
"I thought I'd take us to work."
"Why, thank you." Haneul climbed into the car. "So I assume this is the car that was being fixed?"
"Yup. They finally got it out of the shop."
"What exactly did you do to it?"
"Uh-- I may or may not have accidentally ran into a lamppost. But that's only a theory."
"A theory? Aish, you are so wreckless."
He held his hands up submissively. "Hey, I wasn't trying to notice the pretty girl. She was just there."
"Excuse me?" Haneul slapped his shoulder playfully. "A pretty girl? I thought I was your pretty girl!"
Namjoon had previously said this about her one night when they got coffee.
"Hey, I can't stop my eyes. Besides, what if that pretty girl just so happened to be you?"
"Oh, so you're blaming me now?"
"Yup." Namjoon parked the car in front of the bank. "Well, here we are. This time, I'll try a bit harder to actually meet you at lunch break."
"Sounds good." Haneul pulled out a stick of gum and started chewing. "See you then."
