Namjoon smiled as he saw Haneul's eyelids droop. Setting her on her bed, he kissed her forehead fondly and began searching for a first aid kit. Examining her scarred palm, he saw a fairly deep cut. Praying it wouldn't wake Haneul, he dabbed disinfectant on the wound, cleaning her hand. He felt horrible for dropping her, but his arms had been in so much pain, he could barely hold her any longer. He winced as she twitched her hand away from him, but he continued cleaning her hand. He bandaged it slowly and carefully, kissing her knuckles when it was done.

"I'm sorry, Baby." he whispered, and felt a single tear roll down his cheek. He sat on the edge of her bed, eventually slouching and falling onto the bed. He closed his eyes slowly, falling asleep at her feet.

Haneul sat up, clutching her hand. She saw Namjoon, sprawled at her feet, his mouth hanging wide open. Smiling, she bent closer to him and kissed him slowly, waking him up.

"Hello, Baby." She smiled, and saw his wide smile and dimples.

"Hi. I- sorry-- I fell asleep. "

"It's okay. I did too. Thank you for bandaging my hand." Haneul bit her lip, glancing at her watch. It read 12 AM.

"You're welcome. I'm really, really sorry for dropping you." He looked down uncomfortably.

"It's okay. I shouldn't have expected me to carry you all the way home. It's um, Midnight." She wanted him to stay longer, but she didn't want him to be pressured to.

"Um, well, my apartment's far away, and the landlord doesn't let anyone in after 12 am. Even me."

"Really! You can um-- stay- here- I mean, if you have nowhere else to go.."

"Thanks, Babe. I'll find a blanket and sleep on the couch." Namjoon kissed her quickly and left the room.

Haneul walked out to the living room and sat on her couch, waiting for him. She clicked the TV on for some quiet music, and lit a candle.

"Joonie, come out here!"

Namjoon walked out of the hall with a blanket and pillow, once again having lost his shirt.

"Silly, you hate shirts, don't you!"

"Yup! How come you're out here?"

"I thought we could stay up a bit longer." She beckoned for him to sit on the couch and stroked his cheek. He leaned on her shoulder, letting her ruffle his auburn hair.

Haneul smiled as she hugged him closer, growing more tired from his warm embrace.
