Chapter 12

Mary's POV

The next day I woke up and didn't find Brian next to me, something that I was use too when we were sleeping together before, but I thought that it had change by what he did yesterday. Then I hear Aiden's laughter, it got me curious so I got up from Brian's bed and made my way to Aiden's bed room. Brian had him in his arms doing funny faces and making weird sound, I just stand there for a while looking at them having fun, he maybe didn't ask for this baby, but he sure as hell love Aiden! Brian suddenly pull his head up realizing I was there, he put a warm smile on his face, "Does it still hurts?" He ask talking about my jaw, "No, I'm good. Does it still look that bad?" I ask him, Aiden was looking at me and he move his arms up towards me so I pick him up from Brian's arms. He got up and look at me bruise, "No, I shouldn't of hit you that hard because the bruise is almost gone" He said, getting back to looking sad as he remembered what happened yesterday, to me it was already forgotten. "I'm sorry" He mumble. I pull his chin up making our eyes connect, "It wasn't your fault Brian. Now forget about it, I know you're stronger than that" I told Brian as I send him a wink trying to reassure him as best as I could. He pull his large shoulders back up, making him look even taller, as a smirk appears on his face. Brian lean closer to me as he kiss me tenderly once again, his lips felt soft, it just felt so right! I hope he doesn't change his mind this time.

Brian's POV

Mary and I were sitting on the floor playing with Aiden as we talk of different stuff, always knowing each others better. I look at Mary, her pink hair was fitting perfectly with her personality, she was special, sparkling and sweet. I wanted her to be mine and I was willing to make it right.

"Where would you like to go? To have a good time together" I ask while giving a toy to Aiden. Mary look at me surprise, "I-I don't know. Where do you usually go to have fun?" She ask me. "I'm too old, the places I go wouldn't be fun enough for you, young girl" I told Mary as I lean to her, my t-shirt hanging above Aiden that was on his back trying to catch it. "not sure about that. And you're not that old! I'm 27, you're 33; you're just my sugar daddy" She said sweetly cupping my face bringing our lips together, I couldn't get enough of her. But when we parted away, I had an amazing idea in mind. I got up and went out in the backyard and dialed Zacky's number. "Hey man, I need your help. Are you free tonight?" 

Mary's POV

Brian was back in the living room not long after he flew out without any warning. It was kind of weird but I let it go. Brian had a smile on his face that he tried to hide, "Humm, I got to go see Zacky, will you be okay with Aiden?" He ask me as he rub the back of his neck nervously, this was really weird from him, he was all confident a moment ago and then, BOM! He's all nervous, "Yeah, is everything okay?" I ask him kind of worried, "Yeah, yeah, don't worry. See you guys later" Brian said kissing Aiden's forehead and then put a quick kiss on my lips before almost rushing out of the door. 

Brian and I were kissing for sure but that was it, and we haven't told each others feelings except that we wanted to be one around another. But no 'I love you' or not even a 'I like you' we didn't shared feelings and it scared me. The fear that he could react like when we were in Australia, I was even scared that he could even want Michelle back! Yes I know, crazy but it still was a possibility! Michelle was the mother of his child, even thought she had put Aiden's life in danger by using drugs but still! Brian wasn't stable with his emotions, he could change his mind around in no time, maybe if he admit what he was feeling he could feel better. But I wasn't the one to force people to admit what they felt, because I believe that if you force a person to admit a feeling like this about you, it's because they are not ready to say it, maybe not even sure about the feeling. So I will let things go without letting them go too far with Brian. No sex if we are not in a relationship, that was a promise to myself. 

An hour had pass and I heard the door open, Brian enter the house being followed by Zacky and Meaghan. "Hey! What are you doing here guys?" I ask them with a smile. "Well, uncle Zee and aunt Meaghan are going to keep the Monster tonight. I'm bringning you on a date Mary" Brian told me, like a real gentleman. "Where are we going?" I ask him already thinking of what am I going to wear.  "Nah, nah, nah" He said pulling me close to him. "It's a surprise" He said smirking down at me, I started to feel my knees weak under his pure charm. "Now go upstairs I got a gift for you" He said before letting go of me, I bite my bottom lip, I had to force myself for not to undress him just right now. I hold back my urge and got up the stairs joining Meaghan in Brian's room. Since it was the only room that was properly decorated with all the furniture needed. I enter in the room and saw Meaghan getting all her make up and her flat iron hair stuff, I then look at the bed and saw a black dress on it. The dress had a black leather top that was attached to a long black tulle that was ending the dress under my knees. This was the kind of dress I love. Meaghan came beside me as I was admiring the dress, "He choose it" she said, "He paid you for saying that?" I said laughing. Meaghan sat me on a chair and started her magic on me. 

Brian's POV

I had my black smoking on, really chick as fuck. My hands were sweaty from the stress that I was feeling. "Calm down man, it'll be okay" Zacky tried to reassure me as he put an hand on my shoulder. I nob but I was still to nervous to speak about that. I just wanted her to come down. And as my wish come true, I saw Mary got down the stairs wearing the dress that I had choose for her and like in my vision, it was fitting her perfectly, she just stood out. She was smiling bright as her face turn red from all the attention I was giving her. "You are stunning!" I say grabbing her hand and kissing it. She giggle and thank me. "You'll be okay with Aiden?" She ask, she was more nervous then me about that, I trusted Zacky and Meaghan with my kid. We said our goo byes and headed outside. 

"Can you tell me where we are going?" She ask as I drove to the secret place. "Nope!" I said popping the 'p' and I finally pulled in the place. "We are going to the Cabaret?" She ask, a smile forming on her face. "Yeah, it 's not about the dancer and all it's more about the music and the atmosphere that I come here, you'll see it's fun" I said as I got out of the car and run on the other side to open her door. I grab her hand in mine and didn't let go. 

We sat at the table that I had reserved for us in a VIP place, so we could be more alone. We enjoyed each others company, the music and had a drink or two, nothing to get drunk about. My hands started to get sweaty again, knowing fully what I had to do. "Mary, I need to talk to you" I told her on a serious tone, she turn all her attention to me. This is something that I like about Mary, when you were being serious she brought all her attention on you. She put a hand on mine and it's then that I realize that my hands were shaking lightly, fuck. "I would want you to be my girlfriend Mary, I want to call you mine and by the same occasion, I want to create a family with you. You, me and Aiden. Would you like that?" I ask her. Mary's eyes started to water, "Yes! Oh My God! Brian I love you!" She said pulling me in a hug. "I love you too Mary" I said pulling her face up in a tender kiss. "Now I got one more thing for you" , "Are you trying to kill me by an happiness overdose?" She ask swallowing her tears. "I was thinking about a love-happiness overdose but as you wish" I say as I got a black box out of my pocket. I put the box in her hand and she open it. When she saw what was inside she gasp, putting her hands on her mouth. It was a silver necklace with only one sparkling wing. I grab the necklace and put it around her neck, kissing behind her ear in the same occasion. "You are the angel that saved me" I said as she put her hand behind my neck. "This is really cheesy but that's okay. I love you Brian".

Not long after we went back home, we were both already missing Aiden's presence. I felt relief and proud of myself for what I had done, admit my feelings to Mary was one of the best decisions I had made, I was feeling as good as I've ever been. Tomorrow, Mary will be moving in, I could now call her mine and have my own little family, probably not the way I had thought of it but it was perfect for me. Because I had now the woman of my dreams by my sides. That night, I woke up once or twice compare to the hundred times a night that I would wake up before. Nightmares were getting away and I hoped that they will completely stop soon. But for now I could live okay like that.
