Expect the Unexpected

Chapter 13

Mary's POV

It's been around 9 months since I came back into Brian's life and now everything felt right. We had our little routine with Aiden and we are truly happy with what life we have. Soon, after Aiden's one year old birthday, Brian will have to go back in the studio. Everything had him wanting to create stuff and he felt inspire, but that'll be another change. 

But for now Brian and I were sitting outside enjoying the sun of Huntington beach while Aiden was doing his afternoon nap. "Would you of like it if Aiden had came from you and I?" Brian ask me out of nowhere. "Not really, all this pregnancy thing have always scared me and the fact that pregnant woman go crazy because of the hormones wouldn't of been fun with me trust me. So to me it doesn't matter where Aiden come from you know. It's a part of you and he is such a sweet child, I love him like if he came from me" I told Brian. He got up from his chair and came to me lifting me up on my feet. "You know what day it is?" He ask cupping my face in his large hands, caressing my cheeks with his thumbs. "No, what is it?" I ask him putting my hands on his hot back making us closer to each other. "Today is the day that we first met, two years ago, the day that changed everything in my life and it end up in a pretty good way" Just then I realize what day we were, it's true! today is the day when I met my favorite band for the first time, it's when I realize my dream and now I'm creating a family with Brian Haner Jr. Fucking crazy right?  "Oh! Just pretty well!" I say putting my hands on my hips, obviously I was joking. Brian laugh, "Okay, pretty fucking amazing! Just like you!" He said before kissing me, each time it was making me go weak, how could he kiss like that without any effort? It was only his lips on mine but it felt like if he was making love to it.

I was sleeping in Brian's arms, like we usually do after having amazing sex, nothing compared to before, we were looking at each other and it was real love. 

But something had woke me up this night, like the sound of someone walking up the stairs. I unwrapped myself from Brian's arms as I try to wake him up, without any success. I was in my pajamas, and I grab the baseball bat that was beside the bed, an habit that I had when I was living alone. I could still hear the noise and it was scaring me. The baseball bat was almost shaking in my hands, I was almost at the door of our bedroom when I saw a silhouette pass by. I restrain myself from screaming and the bat was lock in my hands, soon fear was replace with anger and hate, no body is going to enter in my house and try to hurt my family. Yes! All those are mine now! 

I open our bed room door softly as my eyes adjust to the darkness of the house. I saw Aiden's bed room door open, which wasn't normal because we would always close it.  Just now I heard Aiden whimper, -Oh no, you're going to die- I just told myself as I bite my bottom lip so hard I could almost taste my own blood. I walk quietly to Aiden's room and open the light on, the one person I would never want to see around him was just there, Michelle. She looked at me with a croaked smile, I let her no time to do anything else and hit her in the legs making her fall on her face. Aiden started to cry, "BRIAN!" I yell out as I grab Michelle by the hair and walk out of Aiden's room with her body on the floor, she tried to untangle herself but just then I walk down the stairs still pulling on her hair, she was in pain but I really didn't fucking care, she hurt Brian, she had hurt Aiden and she had no right to come in here or even near Aiden, so to me she just fucking deserved it. By then Brian had took hold of Aiden and wasn't aware of what was going on. When I had got down the stairs Michelle was unconscious. I pull her sleeves up and saw fresh mark of needles in her forearms. She was still drugging herself and that was maybe why she enter in here. I called the cops and they were here in a matter of second. After the cops were gone with Michelle I got up and join Brian and Aiden.

Brian seem angry and sad, probably because he didn't react but that was okay to me. I sat down next to Brian on the floor as he was playing with Aiden that was now fully awake. When Aiden saw me he put his little arms up for me to take him, he had a smile on his face that made my heart melt. "M-mommy-y" He said. I look at Aiden with big eyes and look at Brian that had the same face. "He-he just said it" I almost whisper because I was too happy. Brian put his arm around me and look at Aiden that was smiling up to the both of us. "You know, sometimes I was scared that you were too fragile for me but now I guess I should be the one who is scared" He said thinking of what I did to Michelle. I laugh, "Yeah, I'll do anything to protect my family" I said as I kiss Aiden on his forehead, all his little head was covered in a dark brown hair, he had those special eyes that his daddy gave him. This kid was really amazing even thought he had only said two words now, mommy and daddy.

Ever since that night, Brian didn't had any nightmares, all gone. It was Aiden's birthday and Zacky and Meaghan had announce that they were getting married, Matt had another baby on the way and the guys will soon be having to go in the studio. Brian was excited to go even thought he said he'll miss his little love ones. Who knows, maybe the next ones to get married will be us!
