Halloween Scare

~Aiko's P.O.V~

Finally, the night I have dreaded the most, has arrived. I can't deny the fact that the school looks awesome... There were carved pumpkins everywhere, hung in the air, sitting on windowsills. Hikaru, Kaoru, Soga, Haruhi and I sat behind a pillar. Soga was hugging his knees in despair and Haruhi was holding a string. Hikaru and Kaoru had devilish smirks and an evil look in their eyes.

"hey Kaoru, tell us the story, about the evil clock tower witch." Hikaru's grin grew bigger.

"one Halloween, many years ago, a girl dressed in a witch costume fell to her death from the tower." I could see Kaoru chuckling silently as a shiver crawled up my spine.

"and now, whoever sees her ghost on Halloween night, will be cursed forever!" they finished in unison. Soga obviously couldn't take it anymore.

"no! please stop it you guys!" Soga yelled. The twins chuckled evilly. Haruhi glared at the twins.

"would you knock it off. The point is to scare someone not on your team. Why don't you save that dumb stick for somebody else." Haruhi yelled sternly, she looks agitated. I stood up slowly as the feeling came back into my legs, but I was still a bit wobbly.

"but no ones come yet." I mumbled. Wait, why am I defending them! The twins nodded in agreement. Haruhi pulled out a book about coping with anxiety and started reading it. I slapped my forehead and rolled my eyes.

"really? Even if it means Kurakano will think you're a big chicken," Kaoru asked. I looked towards Soga curious. He started to blush at the mention of her name. Soga continued to talk about sappy love stuff. Bleh, I thought walking closer to the stairs.

I felt my body tense as I thought I saw a shadow. I-it's probably just m-my imagination!

"did you see that? That creepy shadow just now...outside the window.." Haruhi said. Oh god it wasn't my imagination! I looked around quickly paranoid, as I fidgeted with my fingers.

"oh no! not you too Fujioka! Knock it off would ya!" Soga yelled.

*tap *tap *tap *tap

We all looked towards the stairs as a skull landed on the ground. Everyone let out a scream. My hearing went a little fuzzy as the twins started yelling. I lost all feeling in my legs and dropped to the floor, holding onto Haruhi's leg. Hikaru kicked the skull back up to the top of the stairs and Kaoru applauded him. A person with long black hair covering her face walked to the centre of the stairs, mumbling my skull. It lifted its head.

"why did you kick.....my skull!!" it yelled. Everyone went pale as they screamed. Kaoru, Haruhi and Soga all ran in one direction and Hikaru started running in the opposite. I reached for Hikarus hand before he got too far away.

"h-hey! D-don't leave me h-here!" I yelled as he dragged me across the floor.

"B-baka! Stop dragging me across the ground!" I continued to yell. He looked at me startled and stopped to help me up. He continued pulling me along as I struggled to keep up. Damn me and my short leeegs!!!

*thud

Me and Hikaru tripped on a rope and fell onto the ground. Before we could get up a net pulled us up into the air.

"ow! This was supposed to be a tournament, not a hunt!" Hikaru yelled. I was sitting on Hikaru's legs, trying to move of them when he started flailing around crazily.

"Kaoru! Where is he! I've gotta find Kaoru!!" he yelled, almost hitting me in the face multiple times.

"do you want to nock me out! Stop thrashing around!" I yelled "I can get us out of here with my sewing scissors!" I pulled a small sewing kit out of my big hoodie pocket.
