It's the year 1901 Jack, is 20 years old. While Annie is 17. She will be 18 in a few days.

It has been a few years since the strike. Everything has been going smoothly selling papers.

Jack sells papers on the side. He works full-time illustrating for the paper.

Jack has saved enough to buy and own a cute little house. Once Jack marries Katherine she will move in with him.

They are engaged to be married in a month.

Jack, being the gentleman he is. Asked  Mr. Pulitzer for Katherine's hand in marriage. Pulitzer after taking time to think about it. Permitted him to marry his daughter. He may not be the biggest fan of him but he got a lot of respect for him after the strike.

Jack's life has been amazing. while Annies hasn't changed in any way.

Annie feels all alone. She feels no one cares. Her mother is always quiet. She doesn't say a word to her.

It breaks Annie's heart not being able to talk to her mother, having no brothers or sisters to talk to.

Annie walks around the house. She enters her mother's office. She sits on the chair.

She lets out a sigh. She puts her arm on the desk hitting a picture causing it to fall and break the frame.

"Oh, no, my Grandmother will kill me!" She says panicking. She goes to clean it up when she noticed the picture is folded.

"What's this?" She picks up the frame, it is a picture of her mother holding her. She unfolds it and see's other people in it.

They appear to be a family in the photo. The man is holding the boy who appears to be two years old. Her mother is holding her.

Who are they?

Her mother walks into the room.

"Mother, what is this?" She shows her the photo. Her mother stays silent saying nothing. She walks away.

"I guess, I have to find out myself." Annie decides it's time to leave her home. Time to go and find something. Something that could make her feel less lonely. Less of a burden in her home.

Annie goes down the stairs and walks to the door. She looks at her home.

"It's time." She opens the door, walks out into the world for the first time in ages.

She walks. As she walks she sees the world changing around her. She the houses get smaller and smaller.

Eventually, she ends up in time square. She looks around. She tries to get people's attention but they all ignore her.

'Excuse me, Miss?"

Annie jumps and lets out a shrike.

"Oh, I am sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."

Annie lets out a sigh of relief.

"It's alright. What can I do for you, Sir?"

He is confused for a second. "Oh. Are you interested in buying a paper?"

Annie lets out a giggle. She reaches in her small purse for change. "Sure, got any cool fake handlines to go with that?" Annie says with a smile.

The man's mouths opens wide. Unsure of what to say her tries to come up with something quickly.

"Extra, extra An attorney accidentally Sues himself."

Annie covers her mouth trying to contain her laugh. Failing of course. "My, good sir you have earned a tip." She gives him the money.

He hands her the paper smiling at her.

"Oh, while I have your attention. Can you take a look at this photo for me please?"

"Sure, let me see." The man says.

Annie hands him the photo. He takes a look and realizes smothing about the little boy is familiar to him.

"That boy looks familiar to me."

He thinks for a moment. "Wait, that looks like my friend Jack!"

"Can you take me to him? This is really important to me." Annie pleads to him.

"Yeah, sure I know it selling spot He should be off from illustrating by now. Let's go, uh what's your name?"

"It's Annie, What's yours?"

"David, my friends call me Davey."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Davey."

They shake hands.

"You too, Annie."

A few minutes go by. David spots Jack.

David waves to him. "Hey, Jack! Can you come here please."

Jack waves and walks over to them. "Hey, Davey what's up?"

"Well, this is gonna sound weird. I'm not even quite sure how to even phrase this."

Seeing David struggle Annie decides to speak. "Hello, my name is Annie. I showed this photo to Davey and he thinks you should take a look at it." Anne hands him the photo.

Jack grabs the photo. His mouth opens. he covers his mouth with his hand. tears rolling down his eyes.

Annie and David look at each other. "What is it?" Annie asks.

"That's my Father. That little boy is me." Jack begins to crying pulling the photo to his chest.

"Where did you get this?" Jack asks Annie.

"My mother's desk. I knocked it off her desk. It was folded up in the frame. It only showed my mother and me."

Jack and Annie get in deep thought.

At the same time, Annie and Jack speak. "Does that mean we are siblings?

"I have Sister!"

"I have a brother!"

Annie begins to tear.

They both rush into each other's arms and hug each other tightly.

Katherine walks up right as Jack says in tears "I can't believe it I have a sister," holding Annie tightly.

"Jack, you have a sister?" Katherine smiles for him.

"Yes, I do. I still can't believe it. I always felt I had a family somewhere." Jack says hugging Annie even tighter.

"Hey!" David says. "I thought I was family?"

They release from the hug.

"You know very well, I met blood-related."

"Yeah, I know just messing with you." David laughs and smiles.

Jack throws his paper at him.

Which causes David to laugh harder.

"Take a look at the photo." Jack shows Katherine the photo.

"Awww, Jack you were so, cute," Katherine tells him.

"Were, what do you mean were? I still am." Jack tells her.

Katherine jokingly hits him.

They all laugh.

"So, Ace I know we had a date..." Jack begins.

"Have fun, get to know your sister," Katherine says.

"I love you, Ace." Jack smiles.

"I love you too, Jack."
