Newsies: little sister

Chapter 2

Elizabeth is taking care of Annie. She misses Jhonny and Jack like Crazy.

She lets ot a sigh. She hears a knock on her window. She jumps. She looks and sees Jhonny.

"Jhonny!" She begins to whisper after shouting his name.

"What are you doing here, if my mother finds out you will get in trouble. She is dangerous."

She lets out a sigh holding back her tears. Her heart is breaking.

"Liz, please. I just want the chance to see my daughter and give Jack the same chance. I know it is a lot to ask because of your mother."

She attempts to speak but she can't seem to find the right words. She looks into his eyes.

She lets out a sigh. "I will meet you at your place in the morning. Just this once, but you need to get out of here. Now."

He lets out a smile and leaves upon her request.

How will I sneak out of here?

Just then her butler and maid knock on her door. She opens the door.

"Have any requests Miss?

She gets an idea. She asks them to come in. "I know what I am about to ask is a lot but it means a great deal to me."

"What is Miss?" They ask.

She lets out a sigh. "I need you to distract my Mother one last time."

They look at each other.

"Sure, Miss. What do you need us to do?"

She explained her plan to them.

At five in the morning. She knocks on his door. He has a little place. it's a one-story house with two small bedrooms and kitchen and living place.

Jhonny is normally awake at this hour. Jhonny gets up and answers the door. He sees Elizabeth holding Annie.

"I am here to let you see her." She passes Annie to Jhonny.

Annie looks at Jhonny knowing that's her father.

Johnny Smiles at her he begins to tear up. He kisses her forehead. He holds her tight.

2- year-old Jack wakes up. He hears his mother. "Mommy!"

He runs up and hugs her. "Elizabeth picks him up and hugs him tightly.

" Jack, son. Would you like me to meet you, little sister?" Johnny asks.

Jack nods. They have him sit on the couch. Johnny passes him "support her head."

Jack smiles and holds Annie the best he can. "This is your sister Annie."

Annie begins to cry. Jack manages to get her to calm down. He sings to her. The same song his father sang to him.

Johnny smiles. He looks over at Elizabeth and sees her in tears.

" Liz, are you okay?

"I can't do this!" She grabs Annie and runs out the door.

After the shock is over Jack begins to cry. Johnny picks him up and hugs him tightly.

"Oh, no, no, no. Jack, it's not your fault, it has never been your fault."

Jack cries.

Johnny sighs. He walks to Jack's room.  He places Jack in his bed he wipes Jacks tears.

" You will understand when you are older, son." He kisses his forehead

Jack nods.

Johnny sings Jack to sleep.
