SM Entertainment saw the posts and released an official statement regarding the rumour. SM states: "After consulting with our artist, we are announcing Mayse as to be in a relationship however wishes to keep her lover's identity private for privacy reasons. We hope you understand her wished and do not speak of the matter to the girl when seen during promotions. Thank you."
