Jimin contacted the Inspector. He explained to him the plan we had come up with and convinced him this was the best option. The plan wasn't that complicated. We knew he was somewhere near the first safe house. He had been there before, trying to get to me. We would go back to the house, like it was safe again. We would sleep there for a few days and then I would decide to go out for some fresh air. Hoping the murderer would be out there watching me. When he would make his move, Jungkook and Jimin would too. The plan wasn't foolproof, but it was the best option we had so far. We decided to go back to the safe house first and try to come up with a better plan if we could. If we would be unable to, the first plan was a go.
We all packed our bags to leave. I took the big bag I had gotten from the house in the first place and put in all the clothes I had brought to the apartment. I took a shower before we had to leave and changed my clothes. I put on his sweater, it felt safe somehow.
When I came out of my bedroom, the men were waiting for me in the living room. When I came out of my room, I saw Jungkook looking at me. Our eyes met, they had a mischievous sparkle in them. I saw his lips curl in a crooked smile. He never looked this good to me before. I loved it.
I answered him with a wink and walked over to the luggage at the other end fo the room.
"I am ready to leave." I said and opened the door. Jungkook and Jimin followed me and took their bags with them. Jimin walked past me and took the stairs down. Jungkook and I were waiting at the elevator to take most of the luggage. He said Jimin had to take the stairs for safety purposes.
The elevator arrived and I walked in first, Jungkook followed me but had to walk out again to take the last few bags with him. He put them on the far right, which left a little room on the other side for us to stand. He took a step back after he had pushed the button. I was pushed to the back of the elevator and was pressed with my back against the wall.
He turned around.
"Wearing my sweater again, huh?" He made it sound like a question, but there was no way he wanted me to answer. He took one last step towards me and pressed his body against mine. I had nowhere to move to and let him push me all the way onto the elevator wall.
"It's just comfy." I looked him in the eye daringly.
"Why do you look this hot in it?" He stated and he cleared the last centimeters between us. He pressed his lips against mine, but without any hesitation this time. He did no longer wait for my consent, he knew what I wanted. I pressed my body against his more and I heard him moan in the back of his throat before he broke the kiss.
"Don't play with me." His voice sounded more husk than normal. I smiled daringly. But before he could react, the elevator stopped and a bell rang as the doors opened. He took two steps back in a second as if nothing had happened.
Jimin was waiting for us on the other side of the doors. When Jungkook and I had left the elevator, he stepped in to get the last bags out. We walked towards the car that was parked outside. It was the same van as last time and the same people were sitting in it. We also took on the same formation. Jimin sat next to the driver, Jungkook and I were sitting behind them and behind us were two more officers.
The trip seemed to take ages. We had left the apartment about an hour ago, but we still had about three more hours to go. Jungkook grabbed my hand again, but this time he did look at me. He smiled, but it did not reach his eyes.
"Are you okay?" He asked me softly, only for me to hear him. I nodded and patted the back of his hand with mine.
"It is weird. I feel very calm. I feel like we will be able to catch this jerk." I lied a little. I wanted him to be okay with this plan. For that I needed him to trust me and for him to trust me, I had to show I wasn't nervous.
But he obviously didn't believe me. He probably saw how nervous I really was. How could I not be, I would put my live on the line.
But I had to. If I didn't, more women would die just because the murderer wanted to torment us. Just to show us he was untouchable. But I trusted on that greed he had. I trusted he would take any chance to kill me. I hoped he would let his guard down and make a mistake. But all I could do was hope. There was no guarantee he would take the bait.
Jungkook saw me worry and pulled me towards him. My body fell against his and I smelled his musky scent. It had a calming effect on me now. He made me feel a lot safer, even if I was just about to lure in a murderer.
"I will do anything to keep you safe." He whispered with his mouth pressed against my hair. "Anything."
