I woke up with stinging eyes. I must've fallen asleep crying.

"Jesus..." I rubbed my eyes and sat up. I groaned and winced with pain. I'd forgotten to take off my corset, which wasn't a pleasant feeling. My ribs ached and begged me for release. I stood up beside my bed groaning with pain. My fingers fumbled with the string before I finally got a good grip and unlaced the knot. Every loop I unlaced, I felt a rush of air burst into my lungs. Finally I unlaced the last loop and threw the contraption on my bed. I grabbed my side and winced for the pain was still there. I will never wear something like that again.

"Sorry milady but, I'm afraid you'll have to put that back on." I turned around suddenly and saw Tuflty standing in my doorframe.

"I’m sorry if I feel ungrateful but I just can't-"

"It’s not me." he smiled a little. "You and Danny are expected to meet Jareth at the palace tonight." My eyes widened and I walked over to Tuftly.

"Why does he want us there?" He walked in and shut the door.

"Now, you're to keep your mouth shut about what I tell you. Tell anyone and I could be in big trouble.”

"I understand." I showed no emotion because I did not know what to think. He could want us for anything.

“He curious about you Emma. He’s curious about where you came from and who you are. He senses something different in you.” I bit my lip and then grabbed the corset again.

“What about Danny?” I said tying the strings looser than before.  He walked over and sat on a little chair in the left corner. It creaked in pain as Tuftly sat in it.

“He’s not that interested in Danny but, that’s not what I’m here for. Emma, while you’re with the Goblin King, be aware of your surrounding and don’t let you trick him. His a fae so, being a human you’re naturally…… attracted to him.” I finished tying my knot at the top of the corset and walked over to him smirking.

“So pretty much don’t let him up my skirt?” I laughed a little before saying, “I think I can manage that.”  Tuftly frowned and got a little frustrated.

“No. I’m telling you don’t let him get into your head! He may be nice but he has cruel intentions.”  I narrowed my eyes at him and started toward the door.

“It’s funny, I don’t think I believe you. You goblins are mischievous and good liars. How do I know what you say isn’t to scare me?”   He furrowed his brows and threw his hands in the air while I opened the door.

“What possible reason  ...what in the hell would I be stopping you from doing?”  I started to walk out the door and into the hallway.

I yelled back, “I don’t know you tell me.” I continued into the kitchen and saw Danny eating a bowl of what looked like cereal. “Hey Dan!” I leaned over and hugged his shoulders. “We’re going to the Castle today.” I turned around and looked at the cabinets and tilted my head.
