(Benicio's POV)

Three days ago I killed Vinny. I've felt so alive since. It was like I got this giant weight off my chest, and I could breathe and do as I pleased, nothing holding me back. He's dead and gone forever, now I could finally get my life back together and start all over. "Task one of the day." I said to myself as I looked at a list I had made of the things I had to do today, I had alot to do and I wouldn't have much time to take breaks for myself. I let out a sigh. "Meet up with Bruno again." Boris told me he would meet me at the diner for breakfast. I looked st the clock on the wall. "10 minutes." I said to myself quietly, I was already dressed so I didn't have to rush. I folded the piece of paper and placed it in my pocket, I stood up from the chair I was in and looked at the table that was in front of me.

Boris had a pack of cigarettes laying there. It wouldn't hurt if I took two. I grabbed the pack and took two cigarettes out of it, I placed the pack back down in its place on the table and grabbed a lighter then started to walk towards the door of the safehouse. I grabbed my trench coat and then walked out of the door. It was snowing lightly, there was about 4 inches of snow under my foot, I looked down at it for a few seconds and then started walking. It crunched quietly under my feet as I walked. I looked around the town and noticed the Christmas lights and all the shops decorated for the season. People were out shopping with their children, they all looked happy. It brought a small smile to my face when I saw this, that was something my father never did for me.

Even if I was just some form of profit for him. I let out a small sigh when thinking about this, I looked away from the happy shoppers and looked forward, as I continued to walk down the snowy sidewalk. This was going to be a long day, and I'm sure I was gonna be exhausted when I got back to the safehouse, maybe these things wouldn't take long. I just feel like a lazy cat today who just wants to sleep and eat cannolis all day. But I knew that's one thing I couldn't do. As I neared the diner I saw a few kids playing in the snow, I stopped and watched them for a few seconds. A big smile came to my face as I watched them, some were building snowmen and others were having snowball fights.

I was about to walk into the diner but I felt a snowball hit the back of my head, I turned around with a raised eye brow to see who threw the snowball. It was Charlie. I smiled when seeing him. "Hey Charlie." I said to him as I continued to smile. "Hey Benicio, how ya been?" He asked me as I looked back over to the kids. "I've been...better lately. My schedule is completely full today so I don't have much time to myself. But how's Richard? And...what about Y/N? Have you seen her around?" Charlie smiled widely "Richard is doing fine, he's eating cookies and drinking a cup of hot choclate. And as for Y/N she's doing the same." I swayed my tail slowly when hearing this news, I nodded my head.

"Well, maybe I will get to see Y/N sometime this week, is tomorrow okay?" I asked Charlie as I took in a deep breath and slowly let it out. "That will be fine." Charlie said as he bent down and grabbed a pile of snow and began to form a snowball. I watched his movements, I knew what his intentions were. I smirked. "Alright then slick, what time should we meet up?" I asked him as he formed the perfect snowball and held it in his hand. "Hmm, how about around 10 at the bar?" I nodded my head. "Sounds like a plan."
I said to Charlie as I turned around towards the entrance of the diner. "Great! See ya then!!" Charlie yelled out as he threw the snowball towards me, I quickly ducked down dodging it.

I shook my head and chuckled softly. "Bye Charlie." I said as I stood back up and walked into the diner, I looked around. It was a slow business for them today, there wasn't hardly anyone in here. A small family sat at a booth, talking quietly and enjoying their breakfast, and a few other people scattered around the diner eating or drinking coffee. I looked towards the back of the diner to see a familiar figure. Bruno Bianchi. I smiled when seeing him and started walking towards him, I took the smile off of my face as I reached the booth and then sat down in front of him. "Good morning Bruno." I said as I picked up a menu that lied on the table and looked at the contents inside of it.
