Carrie waited for Mark. She couldn't believe it had come to this, with her best-and only-friend in a near death situation. Being the only black kid in a school for whites was probably the worst thing a person can be in an all-white school, so when he asked her if she wanted to be friends, she undoubtedly said yes.
And now here they were.
As she waited for him to come out, some people came out of nowhere. Like actually came out of nowhere. However, she didn't get a chance to ponder this, as she was then mocked by the leader of this group, Edward Kingpin" James, and then Jane "Empress" Christner. They were the daily bullies.
"Your so much of a freak. I don't even know why you're still here," said Edward, taunting her.
"Are you a girl or a boy? You're too ugly to tell the difference." laughed Jane.
This had gone far enough, but she was trying to hold it in, saying"we will endure, we will endure, we will endure. . ."
Trying to get a rise out of her, Edward said, "you will always be a freak of nature, an outcast. You don't belong here, or anywhere. We are the superior race!"
That was the turning point. Carrie looked at the boy in rage. Ten pillars of earth suddenly shot out from under them, trapping them. Then they were brought to Carrie, who had obsidian black eyes.
"Oh I'm a freak? You should really take a look at yourself, honestly, I mean you look like you've been born from a diseased ape crossed with the earth, and you Jane don't look much better. You think that I'm an outcast but your friends are only trying to get respect from other people by posing as your friends, while other's are intimidated by you. You say you're superior but last to me in everything. Watch yourself before I knock you down. And when I do, you will not be able to rise."
. . .
Four pillars shot out of the ground, in a simultaneous fashion. Four beams of light shot out of them. One was obsidian black, one was blazing red, one was clear blue, and one was pure white.
One flowed to East, one to the north, one to the south, and one. . . to where Carrie was.
These orbs would change the world forever.
Mark and Mrs.Ettinger looked up at each other in shock. Then understanding passed over them.
"So it begins. . ."
Understanding passed over their face, knowing that their enemies would be here soon.
"So let it be"
