Ally's POV:

I enter the office with a face as red as a fire truck. I really need to stop blushing, now my embarrassment has become embrrassing. The school secretary looks up from her work, "Dr. Kidd is expecting you two in his office."

We both nod and head into our princepal's office. My new princepal is a small lady with short blonde hair. She has a welcoming smile but looks like she can turn serious in a second if need be.

"Sit Sit! Nice to see you again Ally!" She reaches across the table and shakes my hand. I shake lightly and give her a half smile. "Ally, how do you like it here so far?"

"Its great," I smile polietly and play with my uniform.

"To help you get comfortable here, I've decided that I'm going to make Michael show you around."

"But-" Michael begins but Dr. Kidd shushes him. He runs his fingers through his green hair. Normally I don't like it when guys dye their hair but for some reason on him it looks... cute. I blush lightly at the thought of me finding Michael cute. The bell ringing somewhere in the distance breaks me from my thoughts.

She hands me a piece of paper, "This is your new scheduale for the year. It is identical to Michael's. Okay. You two are free to go. Have a nice day."

We both walk out of her office, "Michael?" he looks over at me "are you okay with this? If you aren't I can go ask if we can change this?"

He looks taken aback.

"What?" I ask.

"It's nothing... Its just that no one really cares about my feelings that much. It's... refreshing," he answers and begins to walk towards our next class. I look at my scheduale and next it says that we have math. I hate math. I feel like such a failure in math class because I don't understand any of it.

*****

Well it turns out that Michael is a genuis when it comes to math. He always know the answer and is the first one to finish. Normally, I barely know what going on, but now I'm being thrown into a classroom and everyone is talking about something I have never heard about. I really don't know what's going on. Michael must have noticed my confusion because he sent me a note:

meet me in the library at lunch. bring textbook, paper and pencil. dont be late.

-MC

I sliently thank him and pretend to know what's going on.

During lunch period I head straight to the library. When I walk in I immediatly spot Michael sitting in the back where all the tables are.

"No lunch?" He asks when he sees that I only brought my textbook, paper and pencil.

I nod, "I forgot."

"Here we can share mine," he gestures for me to sit next to him. He must have noticed that I positioned my chair so it's the farthest away from him as possible without being rude.

"C'mon I don't bite, and besides you can't see the book when you're that far away," he says and pulls my chair right next to his. He's so close I can smell his cologne... it smells nice. He's basically looking over my shoulder and to say my heart is beating fast woud be an understatement.

"Okay so what do you need help with?" He asks but I can't think straight. My head is spinning. I've never been this close to a guy before.

"Al?" He whispers in my ear using a nickname no ones ever called me. Its almost like he wants to have this effect on me.

"U-uh" I stumble on my worlds, staring at the blank paper on the table.

"Here, lets just go over the whole chapter," he takes the text book and goes to the beginning of the chapter. But I'll be truthful.. I could barley focus.
