        Ally Smith's POV:

"This is all your fault!" I hear Mrs. Clifford yells at her son. I am barelywake but I can still hear everythiing.

"My fault! This is not my fault mom! How is this even remotly close to being my fault?" Michael whispers angerly "and will you be quiet? You're waking her up!"

It is then I realize that I am on Michael's lap. Michael is holding me, right now. Okay Ally calm down.

"I didn't raise you to hang out with these kinds of people. They're not like us!" Mrs. Clifford practically screams.

"They're not like us because they aren't obsessed with money? Sometimes it's not such a bad idea to hang out people who see things differently. Do you know how boring its is to hang out with the same exaxt people. All of your friends are just copies of each other. Don't you get sick of it?

"Of course not! They're my friends!"

"Well at least I don't have have to talk shit about other people to gain my friends," Michael stands up, taking me with him, "Bye mom, I'm going out."

"Michael Gordon Clifford! Get back in here!" Mrs. Clifford screams at her son. He slips on some shoes and walks out the front steps.

He gently puts me in thet passanger seat of a car and hops into the car. I open my eyes and look at him.

        "Thanks," I whisper, smiling slightly.

"You heard that?" He asks quietly, looking into my eyes. I nod and my gaze meets my lap.

"It was sweet.. You stood up for me." I respond. Rain drops begin to fall from the sky. Michael starts the car and pulls out of his driveway.

"Where are we going?" I ask Michael.

        "Somewhere," he says, smirking.

*****

When we get out of the car all I see is trees. Trees, trees and more trees. Michael gets out of the car and I follow. We walk towards a clearing in the woods. Need I remind you, it's pouring rain. Michael walks all the way into the center of the glade. His green hair sticks to his forehead as he turns around. I have no idea why we're here.

"Here," he hands me his jacket. I smile at him and put it on, his smell surrounding me.

He takes a step closer to me. He takes another step. And another. He's so close I can feel his breath on my face.

"Ally?" He asks. His eyes flicker to my lips.

        "Mmm?" I respond.

"I'm going to kiss you.. I just wanted you to know that," he tells me. He then places his hands on my face, his touch is so soft. It's like I'm glass and he's afraid to break me. Our lips are so close that if either of us were to speak, our lips would brush. My heart is beeting so fast that I am completly oblivious to the rain.

And then it happens. He leans in and our lips touch lightly. He pulls back to check if its alright. I nod and lean in again. This time the kiss is stronger. Sparks fly and the butterfies in my stomach erupt.

He pulls back because we're both out of breath.

"Wow," I breathe. He smiles at me and takes my hand, leading me back to the car.

"I'll take you home," he says and starts to drive away.

"I want to stay with you though.." I say. My face burns in realization of what I said.

"As much as I'd love that, kitten, I think your mom will get pissed at me if I keep you any longer," he smirks and glances at me. Oh yeah, my mom's going to be pissed.
