Iallish- a 17 year old blonde with big blue eyes. She is the main character and has the weight of the world sitting on her shoulders
Mary-ann- Iallish's mum. she is a single mum that works 3 jobs trying to support her kids.
Oliver (ollie)- Iallish's best friend. Big brown eyes that always tell Iallish what to do. He the big protector of Iallish and her family.
Nathaniel (nate)- the new kid at school. He is smart funny and totally into Iallish. he has big green eyes with whispy blonde hair.
Rubbi- The second child in the Moore family, 13 years old. With a lack of a parental figure (apart from Iallish) she tests the boundries
Zane- the oldest boy in the Moore family 10 years old, he feels it is his resonsibility to play dad even though he is so young
Beau- the 7 year old ladies man (child number 4)- the biggest pouty eyes that could melt the world
Jemimma- the 5 year old gossip queen, she knows everything about everyone
Ellegra- child number 6 for the Moores, 3 years old she is a big Iallish girl, Iallish is the only parental figure she has really had.
Emellia- the 15 month old cutie that must always be the centre of attention in the Moore family
Evangeline- youngest member of the Moore family (3 months)
