NEXT MORNING [ MADDIE ]
My eyes slowly opened adjusting to the light that was peeking through my curtains. My ears hurt from the constant ringing sound of my alarm. I quickly rolled over and grabbed my phone and pressed the "stop" button.
I took one big deep breath and let it out slowly. I sighed. I dragged my feet off of my bed and gently laid them on the cold floor. I picked myself up with my legs and walked to the bathroom. I turned on the shower and stretched waiting for it to heat up.
Thirty minutes later
I took one last look at myself before I knew that I was 100% ready. I put down my makeup brush and brushed through my hair one last time. My makeup was done in an everyday look with a ligt brown eye with winged eyeliner and a light nude lip. My out fit consisted of a red white and blue flannel. With a white crop top showing about half of my belly button. The last part of my outfit were a pair of high waisted jean shorts.

I put all my stuff away, making sure not to leave a mess. I walked out of my bathroom and put on my used to be white vans. I then picked up my phone off of my light pink bed cover and grabbed my yellow tumblr backpack. I then walked to my door and into the hallway making sure to shut my door quietly. I went down stairs exchanging a "hi" and "bye" with my mother.
Me and my mother have never really had a bond. We love each other but we are always busy. I'm either busy with school and sports and she's busy with her job. She has always been very supportive though. She might not have much time to spend with me, but she's always found time to be at my games and the football games where I cheer. I do want to get closer with her.
I got in my car and ran my hands through my hair and put my head on the head rest. I took a deep breath in and sighed. I slowly inserted my key whilst turning it to make my car engine start. I then adjusted the mirror until it was in the perfect spot. I the headed to Alissa's as fast, but safest, way I could so we wouldn't be late.
Once I finally got there I honked, signaling for her to come out. She came running out with a big smile plastered across her face. She hopped in the car through the window instead of using the black shiny door.
She got in fully while laughing. "Are you ready?!" She squealed.
"Do I look ready?" I said with a rude but jokingly tone.
She smirked. "You actually do! You look so cute" she said while aweing.
I smiled a soft smile while pulling off.
