Draco Malfoy

Puppy

I pushed a branch from a tree away from me while I stamped irritated on the leaves that crunched under my weight.

"What are we doing out here?" I asked for the fifth time. "Are you going to kill me or something?"

Malfoy laughed,

"Nah, I'm going I show you something, and I think you might like it. Come on."

"Might," I said and rolled my eyes.

"What did you say?"

"Noting."

He looked back at me and saw how I struggled trying to get past two bushes. He grabbed my hand and pushed me with him.

After school Malfoy had been nagging me to come with him to the forest. When I finally said yes he almost ripped my arm off.

"God dammit Draco," I said irritated when we passed another bunch of bushes. "I don't want to be here anymore. This is also against the rules."

"I know, I know, I just really wanted to show you something."

I sighed.

"We're here soon just a little further."

We walked for a couple of minutes when we finally stopped up. He turned around with a bright smile.

"Tadaa!" He exclaimed and threw his arms in the air and then down at the ground.

I looked down and gasped.

"Oh my god!"

I ran over to the little creature and kneeled down.

"He's is cute!"

"It's a she, I checked," Malfoy said and sat down next to me. "Don't ask."

I laughed and continued to pet the little puppy. Its tail wiggled in happiness as I scratched it behind its ear.

"What's her name?" I asked.

"That's up to you."

I looked at him with raised eyebrows.

"Wait.. where did you get her from?"

He smirked and bit his bottom lip.

"I didn't get her. I found her. Here in the forest."

"Alone?"

"Yes, and I was thinking we could take care of her together."

I smiled and petted the dog under its chin.

"What about Mia?"

"That's a great name," he said.

"But Draco, What are we gonna do? We aren't allowed dogs inside the school."

"That's why we're keeping her here. This deep in the forest no one will find her. I just couldn't leave her."

I put a hand on his shoulder and nodded.

"You were doing the right thing."

He smiled kindly at me and I couldn't resist but give his cheek a little kiss. His cheek was soft and smooth.

"You liar!" I said teasingly. "You're not growing a beard! You can't even have one!"

"Oh shut up!" He said and I started laughing.

"(Y/N)?" He said.

I looked at him with a small smile.

"Yeah?"

"Thank you for doing this with me."

"Of course. I love dogs! Especially this little one!" I said and made Mia roll onto her back and let Malfoy and I scratch her stomach.

Suddenly I felt a warm hand on mine. I looked up and made eye contact with Malfoy. He smiled weak and sucked his bottom lip. He leaned in and our lips were about to lock together.. then the stupid sound of clocks ringing for the school filled the air.

"God dammit.." Malfoy cursed. "We gotta go."

We said goodbye to Mia and left the forest. We didn't talk about what we were about to do at that moment even tho I was so curious. What would've happened if the clock didn't ring? Guess I'll never find out.

But at least one good thing came out of it. WE GOT A PUPPY!
