Draco Malfoy

Jealous Draco ~2~

I looked at the clock and saw it was nearly 1 am. I threw the blanket away from me and sat up in my bed. I looked around and saw Freja, Cheryl and Lorie. They were all deeply asleep.

I stood up and tiptoed over to my shoes and put them on. I grabbed my jacket and took it on. I walked noiseless over to the door and walked through the gilts corridor and to the common room where I pushed the big painting away and tiptoed all the way out from the school to the forbidden forest.

I looked nervously around, trying to catch Harry or Hermione or Ron in the darkness. I sat down on a big rock close to me. It was cold. I hugged myself while my teeth started shaking.

Little by little I had the feeling someone was watching me. It was creeping me out and I started to get a little scared. I stood up and turned around multiple times.

"Hello?" I yelled out. "Is here someone? Hello!"

The sound of a stick that crunched made me turn around and I gasped.

"Draco!" I said.

My heart was beating rapidly in my chest and I leaned up against the rock.

"You scared me!"

He raised his eyebrows and sighed. He walked a little closer to me.

"I told you it was a bad idea."

"What was?"

"Trusting Harry to meet you here. How long have you been waiting?"

"I've been waiting-wait.. how did you know I was here?"

"I followed you."

"First of all, gross. Second, why?"

He chuckled and walked even more closer to me. Now he was only a few centimeters away.

"I knew he would trick you to come here."

"How?"

"Because he did the same to me once."

"But why?"

"Who's there!"

We both jumped in shock and a light ball hit my face and I had to look away.

"Shit!" Malfoy squealed and grabbed my arm. "We gotta go!"

"You're going no where!"

The light ball floated away from my eye and I could see clear again. Mr. Snape came walking with Harry by his side. He looked far away from happy, but didn't Snape always do that.

"You two have broken innumerable rules from the school!" He yelled and stopped right in front of us. "Be glad that Mr. Potter overheard your conversation about going to the forbidden forest. You could've been hurt!"

I looked confused at Malfoy who just sent Harry an evil stare. I couldn't believe it. He was right.

"Follow me to the headmasters office. Immediately!"

"But Mr. Snape! He set us up!" I tried and pointed at Harry.

"She's lying!" He shouted.

"Enough!" He looked disappointed at Malfoy and me. "Fifty points from Slytherin.. I had really expected better of you two."

I looked at Malfoy who just sighed.

"Now follow me to Dumbledore's office! Now!"

He turned around and walked away. Harry sent us a satisfied face expression and turned around. We followed them back to the school.

Silence was filling the air, except for that big clock above the door to Dumbledore's office. I looked at Malfoy who looked straight at the floor. We were waiting for Dumbledore to arrive so he could give us our punishment. I sighed.

"Draco.." I muttered.

He looked up and raised one of his eyebrow.

"Don't give me that 'I told you so' look. I know I was wrong, okay! And I'm sorry!"

He grinned and shook his head slightly.

"I would feel a lot better if I could tell you myself."

I sighed.

"Then say it.

He leaned closer to me with a cheeky smile.

"I told you so."

I rolled my eyes as he leaned back in his chair.

"Do you forgive me now then?"

"There's nothing to forgive, you just trusted the wrong person. A mistake."

"I know, but you tried to warn me.. a lot of times.."

He chuckled and nodded.

"Yeah I know."

I smiled at him and leaned up again the chair.

"I'm just glad you're not going through this alone. We're probably gonna get a month helping Hagrid with all his beasts."

I grinned.

"Probably, but at least I'll be with you."

He looked at me with a crooked smile and reached out for my hand. He grabbed it and intertwined his fingers between mine. I felt my cheeks burn and how my pulse got higher.

"I agree," he said. "No matter what punishment we get, I'll happily do it with you."
