CHAPTER 1

Chapter 1

i). First day of school

 "Chloe are you awake yet. It's your first day of school!" My dad yells.

" Yes dad I'm awake." I said in a groggy voice.

I drag my self out of bed. I had to look presentable. I grab a blue crop top with long sleeves and black leggings. I let my long blond hair flow around me.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared to death. LA was a change from the past places my dad and I have lived in. It's a good job opportunity for my dad, but the middle of LA was the worst place for me. My dad and I have to move a lot since he is in the military.

I put on black booties to try to give myself some extra height so people wouldn't notice how short I really was. I grab my back and run out of the door.

"Bye hun." My dad said as he pulled me into a hug.

"Bye dad I'll see you tonight with plenty of stories."

I walk to my new high school. It wasn't too far away but the streets were still so busy. LA life I guess.

I arrive to the large high school. I walk inside attempting to find the office but the school is so big I couldn't find it.

I decide to ask someone. I see a group of boys standing in a circle talking. I tap a boy with curly hair on his shoulder.

" Um excuse me may I ask you something?" I asked

The boy turns around clearly pissed of.

"What do you want?"He says angrily. 

" Sorry could you tell me where the office is." I said with my best smile.

"Why would I help you?" He said in a cold tone.

He turns back around to his friends.
I'm stood their in shock. I had to say something. I always get the last word.

" Who died and made you King of the jerks?"

All of his friends stair at me and start oooooing. The curly haired boy turned back around.

"Who do you think you are?" He said clearly pissed off.

"No one I'm just looking for the office."

"I like you. Your gonna be fun to pick on. Oh and the office is right behind you genius."

All his friends snickered. I roll my eyes and head to the office to get my schedule. I could tell this would be a long year.

I go to my first hour. Sadly the process took longer than expected and I was very much late to class. I finally find the room. It was Bio, my best subject.

I walk in and all eyes go to my.

"I'm Mr.Bakes may I help you?" The teacher asked.

I hand the teacher my schedule and I look around. I saw the curly haired pruid alone with one of his friends waving at me. Of course they had this class.

"Okay class this is our new student Chloë. Chloë you can sit next to Eben their." He pointed to a boy who raised his hand and smiled. Of course my seat was right in front the the two boys. Just my luck.
