Chapter 4
ii). Tutor

I sit in the principles office awaiting my fate when the guy that tried to beat me up walks in. He has an ice pack on his head and I can tell he is feeling discomfort in his...... area. He sits in the chair next to me and I turn my head away from him.
After a few silent minutes the principle walks in.
"Now what exactly was going on you two?" My principal asked.
"She kicked me in my not so fun area!" Said the guy.
A giggle a little to myself. He sounds like a big baby.
"Well Mr....." I look down at the name tag on his desk. Plume? That's a weird name. "Mr.Plume. It was simply self defense."
"You kicked him over the head and in the groin! You didn't need to do all that." Said my principal.
"What did you expect?" I asked.
"Don't sass me. Mr. Dwanorf over here is very upset." He said as he directed to the man-baby.
I start snickering. "Dwanorf!?! It suits you well buddy."
"My name is Liam. Dwanorf is my last name." He said as he crossed his arms.
I still giggle. Who keeps the last name Dwanorf? I would change it immediately.
"Anyways. Liam you have been suspended for three days. Chloë you can either do three days of suspension or you can help tutor students." Said the principal.
"Umm sorry but I'm literally the stupidest person I know." I giggled.
"You have actually been doing amazing in your math class and the teacher requested that you be a tutor. You would do one day after school every other day for a month and this punishment doesn't go on your permanent record."
I think for a minute. I hate math with a passion, but I was good at it. My dad would also kill me if I got suspended and would never trust me again.
"Fine I'll do the stupid tutoring." I said.
"Great! you will start tonight. Now Chloë head to class and try not to get into any fights."

I walk into my Bio class and sit next to Eben.
"So I heard you got into a fight an won! Nice job Clo. What was the punishment." Said Eben.
"I have to tutor kids everyday after school for a whole month." I sighed. I put my head in my hands and groan.
"No way? What subject."
"Math." I said
"That's awesome! I tutor in math too. Now we can hang out more together." He said
"You are great at making a bad situation better Eben. Thank you."
I smile at him and he gives a toothy grin back. The bell rang to go to our next class and me and Eben decided to meet up after school and walk to the tutoring room together. It was going to be more fun tutoring with my first friend here.
