Ok so for this story that I'm about to write I'm going to have to change a few things. For starters when Freddie and Jim met. In this little AU style story Jim and Freddie met in 1976, around the time A Day at the Races was released. Jim and Freddie still met at the bar Heaven but just earlier in life.
(Freddie's POV)
It was very late and I was very tired, but Paul insisted that that we go to this bar called Heaven.
Surprisingly I've never been to a gay bar before, not really sure why I've just never been.
To be honest I was slightly nervous, going to new places often make me nervous. What if someone recognized me and told the paparazzi?
My reputation would be ruined.
I step into the bar, following Paul closely. The loud music and the number of people dancing around me was disorienting to say the least.
In the chaos I lose sight of Paul. I look around frantically for him but he is on where to be seen.
Feeling the panic arise in me I began to make my way off the dance floor.
Walking quickly from the crowd of people, still looking for Paul, I didn't realize I was about to walk into someone before it was too late.
I collided with the stranger, the drink that was in his hand spilling all over hid shirt.
"Oh dear, I am terribly sorry!" I say panicked.
"It's quite alright." The man says gently.
I look up into his eyes and can't help but notice how attractive this man is. Not realizing it I stood staring at him for a few moments.
"You're starring." The man says, snapping me out of the daze I was in.
"What?" I ask confused. "You're starring at me." He says with a laugh.
I can feel my cheeks burn and turn a light pink from embarrassment.
"I'm Jim, it's a pleasure to meet you." Jim said putting his hand out for me to shake. "I'm Freddie, can I buy you a drink? I promise I wont spill it on you." Jim chuckles and says, "I love a drink."
