Romans 1st POV

Recap:

Virgil's POV

I sigh as I step into algebra, trying hard not to draw attention to myself. I plug my headphones in staring at the ground. Just don't look up. "Virgil!" I swear I hear Roman's voice but I pretend the music's to loud.

I start to glance up, and just as I do I see him staring at me. I quickly look down and almost jump into my seat in the corner of the room.

I drum my fingers on the dest as I wait for him. I look up and pretend to listen to Logan go on about some equation that he found super interesting, I swear I don't know how that guy works.

I focuse on the sound of my fingers hitting the desk.

Ba-dum Ba-dum.

Just like a heart beat.

Ba-dum-du-du-dum

And then I see him walking into the room with his headphones on and his eyes rooming.

"Virgil!" I call out but the music must be to loud. Just as I was about to turn away he glanced up at me. So he heard. I continue to watch him as he quickly looks back down at his feet and rushes to the right corner of the back row. I also watch as he takes out a pen and begins to doodle.

Sooner or later Patton walks in. "Patton!" I almost yell.
He just waved and kept walking toward the back row. I reluctantly look away, and shift my attention back to Logan who seems to be staring at something. I study his face for a minute, watching as his features go from slightly happy to adoring something. It's kind of hard for others to tell since he doesn't have the most exaggerated expressions but I've known him for long enough to tell what he's feeling, even if he can't.

Right now he's staring at something like it's the newest mathematical expression, which is a big thing for him. I internally roll my eyes. What could be so amazing to get that reaction from Logan? I follow his eyes back to an excited Patton. Looks like someone's got a little crush.

I snicker and start to turn my head but Patton starts to jump and squeal. Virgil seems panicked by this. What could upset him that much? Patton soon goes back to his seat and sinks down, glancing at Logan. I turn to see that Logan seems disturbed, but doesn't intend on doing anything to help Patton.

"Logan, aren't you going to help your boyfriend back there?" I tease trying to distract myself from Virgil.

"Huh?"

"Aren't you going to help poor Patton?I know you want to, plus I don't think he'd mind some," I replied winking.

"What about me makes you think that I have any attraction toward him?" Logan asks staring intensely towards me.

"Well for starters you look at him like a theory," At this Logan looks down and sighs. He takes his glasses off and rubs his temples, "Why does that make you think I like him?"

"Logan, you never look at anyone else like that!" I reply getting annoyed.

Ding-Ding

"Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to Algebra. Today we will be..."
