Sonic Chronicles

Episode 1

A scientist sits in a command chair in the middle of a room, a room covered in metal, looking out a window that covers the entire front of the room. As he looked out the window, the scientist could see his reflection. A pink nose, dark blue glasses, grey goggles resting on his bald head, a red jacket with yellow cuffs, a yellow triangle connecting to one of the buttons on the jacket, and two steel rings on the right cuff which are connected to a device that has a circular light blue reflective-like surface, grey pants, and black boots. The scientist got up and walked over to a smaller room, within the room, which was kept closed by a ray shield. He then touched the light blue circle and it turned on the touchscreen feature. He then held his finger down on the touchscreen and the ray shield deactivated. The scientist walked in and approached a shackled two-tailed fox that was chained to the wall. The fox slowly opened his eyes as he looked up

"Eggman..."

"That's Dr. Eggman to you."

A look of panic appeared on the fox's face.

"What are you going to do with me?"

"For now I'm only using you as bait."

"Bait?"

"Yes. Knowing I have you, Sonic will come to rescue you and when he does I'll unleash one of my greatest creations!"

"NO! Don't hurt Sonic!"

"Tails, you know you're in no position to tell me what to do."

"Please! Why are you even doing this?! It was nice here before you came! All you've brought is destruction! Why are you doing this?!"

"What I'm doing is just business. You see, I have lots of planets under my control across the universe. I'm just adding this one to the list. The Eggman Empire is the most feared military force in the universe! All those who oppose me meet a swift end."

As Tails looked at the floor, shocked, he thought about how there are other planets that have come under the control of Eggman. He also thought about all the destruction that must've taken place. 

"I must say, I'm very successful. I will admit that I have ran into some of the planet's inhabitants that have given me a run for my money, but like all the others they were wiped out...the powerful inhabitants anyway. For the less powerful, you know like the majority of the inhabitants of this pathetic planet, I enslaved them and forced them to become part of the Eggman Empire. How you may ask? Roboticization!"

"Ro-Roboticization? What does that mean?" Tails asked as his voice started to break.

"It means I turned them into robots. Lifeless robots with no free will that follow every order I give them to the letter."

Tails closed his eyes and looked away from Eggman, trying his best not to cry over what he had just told him. 

"How can you do something so...so...so..."

"It's not hard. Well, not for me anyway." Eggman said with a smirk.

"Please...just...just lemme go."

"You know I can't do that."

"Sonic's gonna kick your butt and save me! You'll see!"

"I'm counting on him rescuing you and I can assure you he won't kick my butt."

Tails tried to shake free, but to no avail.

"How pathetic." Eggman said as he turned around and walked out of the room, reactivating the ray shield.

Tails looked at the ground as he slowly began to cry. One tear after another hit the ground at a slow and steady pace. 

"I can't get out of here...I let myself get captured...He's right...I am pathetic..." Tails thought to himself as he continued to softly cry.
