It's so sad to have children as young as 8 years old sitting in hospital because they have a mental health condition. Where did we go wrong? Why don't we fix it as quickly as we are affected? Why must we take several tablets because of something that affects us from young ages? If tablets solved things why are millions of people dying of suicide every year? Why do we have to suffer in the dark? Is it because no one understands how badly we are suffering? why must it take the first suicide attempt that lands us in hospital before help is given to us? why are we turned away so quickly? is it because it's not a physical illness or wound? is it because its mental they can't see it so it doesn't matter as much? or is it because we are affected and are scared due to stigma to speak the truth about how we truly feel?
Society have a way to shut us out because we are deemed to be ill but if we had cystic fibrosis or leprosy yes these people are shut out of society too but they get the help they get the support straight away and yes although these are extreme and non-curable they are seen and they wouldn't be near to death before they are helped but yet what if we are non-curable why must we have to be nearly dead before they help us
