Bleach: A Hollow of a Teacher (Bleach and Assassination Classroom Crossover)

Chapter 5: The Plan

The class gave Ichigo and Rukia their full attention. It was silent for a few seconds before Rukia decided to take the floor. "Ichigo and I are Soul Reapers. We are spiritual beings that hunt down Hollows and help spirits pass on. We are here because of a rouge Hollows. You might remember your teach was attacked a few days ago by a shadow like creature. That was a Hollow. They are very dangerous. They kill humans for their souls" Rukia started. No one made a sound. "As you probably can guess, we're here to get rid of it" Ichigo said. "No offense but if Korosensei couldn't fight it off then how are you two going to?" asked Kataoka Megu. The soul reapers didn't take offense. The student did have a point. "I think the plan is for us to work together. Although, I disagree with putting you all in danger" Korosensei chimed in. "If you think we can't handle danger then think again. We're stuck with you all day, every day. Regardless of your policy 'not to harm us", Terasaka brought up to his teacher's attention. It was a valid argument. The other students started to speak up, agreeing with Terasaka's statement. "Yea. Come on we can find this thing and help get rid of it" Yada Touka spoke up feeling pumped "Just tell us how we can help Soul Reapers" she offered. Rukia and Ichigo looked at Korosensei for his approval. He nodded, "I trust them. They'll know when to back down when it gets too dangerous" he said. Rukia smiled, "Let's get to planning then" she accepted. The whole class seem to cheer, being happy to help.

The whole class arranged their seats in a circle, as if they were all in a conference. "We'll need to know anything about this hollow. Does it have a weakness?" Nagisa brought up the question. "Each Hollow is different in its appearance and abilities. But all Hollow have one sure method of killing them. Which is slicing their masks" Rukia answered. "Not sure if this helps but, this hollow had similar qualities in shape and abilities like your teacher" Ichigo informed. "If that's the case, then we know it's fast. We should plan something to slow it down" Kanzaki brainstormed. Ichigo started to regain his confidence. He could see these kids weren't like your average teens. He could do it. They all can do it. Together. The hollow will fall.

"How about we use lights and mirrors. That can confuse it"

"Good idea. We all can hide in the forest and reflect each other lights"

"With so many of us, it will get confused and intimidated"

The students began to pour out many brilliant ideas. "I never personally used reflected light to deter a Hollow. But it sounds promising" Rukia liked the idea. Ichigo agreed, "Hollows do attack more often at night, except for the stronger ones who don't fear the day" he added. Slowly the plan was stacking. "Do you think there is a way to uncover it, since its invisible to us?" asked Sugino. Ichigo and Rukia didn't know is such a thing was possible. "Wait! I got it!!" Kayano Kaede shouted standing up. "The bell. When Korosensei touched it, we could see you. Maybe if you give it to the Hollow, the same thing will happen" she voiced her idea. "That's not a bad idea. It's worth a shot. Right Rukia?" Ichigo said. Rukia nodded, "It might be the only thing that works" she agreed.

"Are you guys the only ones who can hit this thing? I wouldn't mind taking a swing at it" Karma asked, forming the next topic. "Karma you are going to stay with everyone else. I don't want you getting hurt" Korosensei told him. "I'm sure if Korosensei can hit it, anything will work" Ichigo said logically. Chad was able to hit Hollows with his fists, so why can't anything else? "We'll need to defend ourselves if need be Teach" Karma said. It was true. The Hollow could choose to target anyone. But there's not much anyone else could do to injure it. Korosensei reluctantly gave in, "I suppose you have a point Karma. What do you think suppose would make decent weapons?" Korosensei turned his attention to the soul reapers. If keeping the students safe was the priority, the best thing would be is to use long range weapons. "Anything that you can keep your distance with. Hollows are huge, so you want to stay out of its way. If all you can do is distract it, that's fine too" Ichigo advised them. "Not as fun as bashing things with a baseball bat, but I guess I can have fun with that too" Karma said a bit disappointed. From then on, the base of the plan was set.

Everything would go like this:

1) Students get into position. Team Bait will lure the hollow while Team lights and mirrors surround them at a safe distance.

2) Once lured, Team lights and mirror will distract the hollow while Team bait moves out of the way.

3) Then Team paintball will direct the hollow to Ichigo, Rukia and Korosensei

"This way, the school doesn't get destroyed and nobody else gets hurt" says Korosensei. "This plan almost seems a bit unnecessary" Ichigo had to admit. All there was to fighting Hollows was to face one head on. Although, the students did want to help. "You can never be too careful Ichigo. Besides this will be perfect practice for my students. If they can plan such an elaborate scheme, then maybe they might have a chance at killing me someday" chuckled Korosensei. Ichigo and Rukia almost fell over, "What!? Kill you?" Ichigo said surprised. "You see. As you can recall, I am a wanted criminal for destroying the moon but no one can kill me. Not even the best assassins. So I made a deal with the government to be able to teach this class. It was their idea to involve the students in on the plan to kill me. Only this class knows about it though" Korosensei explain. "I see. They'd have an advantage since they would be around you majority of the time." Rukia concluded. Korosensei nodded, "Exactly. I do have to admit, they're getting better and better each day. Maybe. Just maybe. If they all work together, they will succeed" he told Ichigo and Rukia. All the students were busy making paintball guns, gathering flashlights and mirrors. They were all working together. "But why this class? I've noticed that this seems to be a secluded campus" Ichigo asked. "This class, is at the bottom of their school. This is where they send all the delinquents and bad students whose grades can't keep up to their standards" Korosensei put in a word. "That's horrible" Rukia commented. "I agree" said Ichigo, "No student is perfect but to send students off to an isolated campus is just dumb. I used to get into a lot of fights with people but that was because they mocked me for my hair color. But I was never treated any different on campus. Whatever their principle is thinking, it's not fair" Ichigo explained his thoughts. "You make an excellent point Ichigo. I see how this class is mocked by the other students on campus. It's not right. This is why I strive to teach this class to pick themselves back up. Because life isn't always fair. Sure on the main campus they are getting a more college like experience. This school has very high standards and every student must work their butts off to succeed. But they aren't learning the real lessons in life. What will they do when they get a job and don't do well? I'll tell you. They'll think back to their time here and school and think they are a failure. They'll think they will be sent to class E-3 and that they'll never be good enough. But if you mix the different types of students together, even the ones who don't do well. They can all learn from each other. Maybe all someone needs is a friend to look up to or a teacher to help them" Korosensei told his reasons. Ichigo admired Korosensei's teachings. He may look like a monster on the outside, but he was a damn good teacher. Maybe even better than any of his own teacher's he's had in school. "I gotta say. If you were my teacher, I be damned if I didn't work my ass off and learn from you" Ichigo said honestly. Korosensei smiled, "I appreciate the complement" he said.
