Chapter 1:

Oh shit.

Putrid, oil-like blood oozed from the now empty eye sockets, leaking down his raw cheeks and dripping heavily into the mouth below; the mouth that was, coincidentally, now screaming out in pain and hatred at me as it drew closer toward me at an alarming rate - bringing the body with it, of course.

Sand whispered all around me, telling tales of the adventurous lives and gruesome deaths lead by the rough enhabitence of this dismal, dust-covered planet. Littered with traps (both natural and man-made), it was of course a  hotspot for assassins and murders alike - which happened to be exactly why I was here.

Well, standing here and just letting this thing run at me wasn't helping my already bad situation. However, incase you don't know what it's like to be totally useless, there wasn't much I could that would allow me to avoid this situation or the paik that was currently making a break for my unprotected eyes. Deciding I should at least attempt to put up some kind of a fight, I backed up to get some more space and positioned myself in the defensive stance they had taught to all the children back on Endor, not that I believed it would do much good.

oof this is kinda short for my first chapter but it's getting late now so I'll try to do another chapter tomorrow. I really hope y'all have enjoyed it so far and continue to read this!
