"Tch. What is wrong with you, Naegi?"
Togami scoffed impatiently and snarled slightly, revealing his teeth to the young male. Makoto shivered slightly and recoiled in his seat shamefully. The lucky student had been failing his pre-cal class and he had sought out help from the smartest person he knew: Byakuya Togami. It was a sort of last resort, seeing as he was terribly unable to befriend the prodegy, even now. The heir's pale blue eyes burned firey holes in Naegi's body. He could tell he was being criticized from head to toe from his body language to his poor mathematic abilities.
It wasn't easy to be good at math, Makoto though, crossing his arms while avoiding looking up at the blonde in front of him.

"Well? Do you still my help, plebian? Or are you going to admit defeat and give up?", the tall male taunted with a slight malice.
Makoto met his eyes with a look of exhaustion but not defeat.
"Can we go over it one more time, Byakuya? " This statement threw off Togami and he merely stared at the sunshiney boy. How could he still be so cheerful? He was failing so miserabley. He was beyond baffled at this point and simply inhaled deeply and began to write an equation on the board, fighting the urge to meet Naegi's sweet, almost innocent gaze. Enough, Byakuya; You are teaching, pull it together. A hotness crept into his cheeks as he turned away to be closer to the chalky surface and less near the boy who was peering at him.

Makoto on the other hand, was focused completely on his tutors hand movements, the darting of his cyan eyes and his every move. The numbers and variables on the board meant nothing to him. He didn't mean to get so caught up in him, he just was studying him to try to discover the absolute mystery of how to become his friend. What was going on in Byakuya's mind? Little did Naegi know..
Stepping away from the board and setting down his stick of chalk, the blonde looked at Makoto and gestured slightly towards the equation.
"What part do you not understand?", he tried to sound softer than usual, understanding, if you will. Despite his efforts, the heir was still coming off as frigid as ever though.
The brunette bit at his lower lip and nibbled, putting his pencil to his lips.
He released a sigh, the two exchanging no words, but looking at one another. Byakuya knew that the fellow student was still clueless, but he stayed quiet for a beat longer to watch his sage green eyes look at everything with such wild curiousity.

"Can we take a break, Togami-sama?", Makoto piped up, setting down the pencil on the desk and motioned the other male to come here. "I want to ask you something."
Byakuya quirked a brow and held back a scoff. Ask me something?, he thought to himself as he approached the smaller boy.
"What do you need, Naegi? Haven't you wasted my time enough?", he questioned harshly as he pulled up a chair to sit beside the lucky student.
"Have you ever liked somebody before?", Makoto asked, the light in the room seemed to compliment his eyes as they were already incredibley expressive. Byakuya's mouth gaped for a moment and then he bared his teeth. "We are in a math lesson. Why are you asking such ridiculousness right now?"
Naegi looked almost let down when the heir shot down his question so quickly, but perked back up as he began to speak again.

"I just thought maybe you could help me figure out how to ask the person out who I like.. Since you're so good with money and math, maybe you're good at romance!"

Byakuya was at a loss for words. He let out a small chuckle as Makoto waited hopefully for his response. He was quite the opposite of an expert at feelings. Since, after all, he had been somewhat in love with Naegi this whole time they'd attended high school together.
"Well...I suppose I'll humor you.
You must tell them..how you feel. It does no good to hide away from your emotions.
Then..."
The prodegy stopped a moment to look into Makoto's wide and expectant eyes. That gaze melted his icy heart, but he attempted to continue.

"You must show them, not just tell. Words are nothing without actions behind them."

Makoto seemed to ponder this for a moment and the blonde wished he knew his companion's train of thought. Then the luckster perked up.

"Like physical affection?"

"I suppose, yes. "

"Hmm...okay.."

Naegi seemed to be in his thoughts again, looking anywhere but Togami's way and blushing a little bit. He wanted to do something bold, but had a feeling in the bottom of his stomach that it would go horribly wrong instead of the way it was playing out in his head.
The lucky boy leaned over the table to be closer to Byakuya and smiled at him, his cheeks rosy.
"Is there anything else you require from me before I go?", the heir asked, now feeling flustered at the fact the fluffy haired male was so close to him.

"Yes!", Makoto said in a sing-songy tone of voice. "I need you to tell me if I do this okay."
Before Togami could interject and ask what he meant by this, the boy pressed his lips against his companion's. The kiss was messy, Makoto had never done anything like this before. Their teeth clinked many times and both their lips were incredibley wet by the time they both pulled away.
Byakuya could not speak. The air was stolen from his lungs. His mouth was halfway ajar from absolute shock.

"Did I do good, Togami-sama?", Makoto giggled, cheeks red now like cherries in the snow.
The blonde was silent and tried his best to feign offense, but to no avail.
In a hushed voice, Byakuya declared Makoto's kiss satisfactory.

"Yes. Unlike your math skills however."

"Hey!!"
