It's the 22nd of December, It's around 10 am in the morning.
As I got older every Christmas was slowly getting colder. I was starting to enjoy Christmas less and less and this year wasn't any different.
But then it all changed when I saw my 3 years long crush, Gabrielle, She was outside my house. She was with 3 or 4 more other people.
I saw Clarisse and someone that looked like her which I assumed was her brother.
The last person was a guy named Yujin.
All but the brother of Clarisse were my classmates and It brightened up my day when I saw her.
When I saw Gabrielle entering my house, I was both nervous and happy.
She's the only reason I could smile recently, Things have been getting hard and she always finds a way to make things better.
Despite all of the negative things, I was able to make a genuine smile.
Because that she made me really happy and I love her so much for it, I'd do anything to make her happy.
As we all sat down in the living room, Eating the food I prepared and watching TV while snuggled up together as a group.
Having her besides me was everything I could ask for this Christmas, Even though it was only for a moment.
And Then I Woke Up
I open my eyes and rise from my bed.
I put my hand on my chest, My heart feels heavy.
Tears are starting to fall down from my face, I try my best to stop it but to no avail.
Because today I realized that I've never done anything to let her know how much I value her. How much I care for her..
How much I love her.
I had the sudden urge to see her, just so that my Christmas eve won't be the worst.
I check my phone, It's December 22. 3 o'clock in the morning.
The tears start falling again, my heart feels even heavier than before.
Because It's almost Christmas... And I knew You Weren't Coming.
