   We were now at the table about to be served dinner by Monique. It had been a few minutes but she finally prepared the table before sitting down so we could all eat.

"Just so you know, your surprise is ready" Monique to Isaiah quickly before giggling and playing with her fork.

"What is it?" he asked sighing lazily.

"I'm not telling you yet, just be ready to see it at the ball" she said giggling afterwards and he just rolled his eyes at his food.

"I hope all the stress and desperate phone calls were worth it" she mumbled and my mind immediately went to that morning when I saw her making a strange call in the living room. She was just planning a surprise for Isaiah, how wifely.

   As soon as I jogged down the stairs, I almost fell over the last step as I spotted the couple making out against a wall.

"Off to see a friend" I ran out without even giving them a chance to say anything.

  It was a short walk to Dex's place and as soon as I spotted only Jaden's car parked in the driveway, I knew he needed some privacy. I was about to walk past but that's when the door opened.

  Dex seemed to be crying and Jaden also looked a bit sad and I could tell that he was being strong for Dex's sake.

    It was last night that Jade gave me the bad news. His break was over and he had to go to back school.

"But don't worry, I'll transfer to a local college so we can be together" he had said last night but I knew how important his current college was for him.

"No, you should g..go" I had burst into tears and shut my laptop ending our videochat. He tried calling afterwards but I didn't accept any of his calls. "But can I have something else to eat afterwards?" I asked as my tongue flicked over his lower lip making him shiver a bit but nod.
