A petite blonde boy was driving down the familiar roads towards a daycare to deliver lunch to a special someone. This boy was Yuuto Nakamura, son of the rich Shun Nakamura, who ran one of the biggest tech companies in the world.
The special someone was Yuki Enomoto, the offspring of two regular people, the mother working at the same daycare center as their son, and the father being a principal of a school.
Now, you may be thinking Yuki is a girl. You're wrong. Yuki is a boy.
That's right. Yuuto's special someone was a boy.
Now you may like gay people, you may not. You don't have to stay and read, but I'ma tell this sweet little story all the same.
No one cares about your opinion.
Yuki and Yuuto met in their senior year, and surprisingly both had missed this grade. Now, don't think it strange, but both had things to do.
Yuuto had been homeschooled, and his mother was a strict teacher; the poor boy had stayed back in his freshman year. Yuuto's mother then sent the boy into the public-school system, saying something about meeting kids his own age.
Yuki, on the other hand, genuinely missed the whole school year. You see, though Yuki and Yuuto were both eighteen when they were seniors, turning nineteen, Yuki had asked his mother to go to college after he completed his junior year in high school.
His mother was confused, but she agreed on the condition that when he finished he would go and do his last year of high school. Yuki readily agreed and went to apply for several colleges.
The boy was accepted even though he hadn't finished high school for being as smart as he was, and due to that fact, he graduated in just one year. He finished a week before school started, making it just in time to begin his senior year.
Oh, you want to know what he studied? Well, he wanted to work at the day care his mother worked at, so he worked his hardest to become certified to be a lead teacher in all age groups. Yuki always wanted a younger sibling, and maybe if he was officially certified to teach them and care for them, he could fulfill that little wish.
So, in their senior year, both boys had nearly every class together. And, though Yuki was rather shy, Yuuto found it easy to talk to the purple-haired boy, and soon they were the closest of friends.
During the summer after graduating high school, Yuki had finally gotten a job at the daycare he wanted to work at. He loved it so much, and after his first day he gushed about it to Yuuto.
Yuuto lit up, then asked if occasionally he could visit. Yuki grew red (which made the blonde smile) and said yes, yes he could.
And so, when the manager sent out schedules, Yuki would immediately send his hours to Yuuto, telling him when he could visit if he wanted.
From then on, Yuuto dropped in at least once a week to visit his friend, as he was busy as well; Yuuto was doing online courses for college, and he didn't want to fall behind.
Sometimes when the boy visited, Yuuto wouldn't even go in. He'd just watch Yuki.
You see, though he never said anything, Yuuto had always had a bit of a crush on Yuki, and there's nothing more attractive than seeing the hottest guy you know working with children.
Go ahead, imagine it.
Yuki, the tall and bashful boy, playing with a toddler. His purple hair put up in a messy bun, a kind smile on his face as the two played patty cake.
While Yuuto observed Yuki at work, he fell more and more in love. Once or twice he was caught, but he brushed it off as him trying to surprise Yuki.
