“So?” Tora kicked himself mentally as his voice trembled slightly.

“Riley sat up, moving his legs from their position. Soon, Riley sat cross-legged on the white comforter, crossing his arms so they were identical to his legs. His lips twisted into a smirk as he said, “When were you planning to tell me about your Queen obsession?”

Tora smiled, relieved. He shrugged as a wide grin spread across his face.

“Seriously,” Riley continued, his grey eyes moving back to the screen. “Your entire library is Queen.” In disbelief, he scrolled and scrolled through the music. Though he searched, there was only Queen.

“And yet, you’re listening to it,” was Tora’s reply. He walked over, sitting on the edge of the bed, head turned so he could see the monochrome male beside him. His weight caused Riley to shift forward a small degree, the sheets wrinkling around Tora’s legs. Riley’s eyes didn’t leave the screen, but that was alright; it allowed him to stare longer than if he had looked up.

“Well.” Riley tucked his plump lower lip into his mouth, snakebite piercings and all. His grey eyes focused on the corner of the bed opposite Tora.

Tora watched his friend expectantly, waiting for him to continue, but when all he heard was silence, he chuckled lightly, biting his lip to try and suppress the laughter bubbling up inside his chest.

Riley released his lip, now glistening slightly with his saliva. His eyes glittered with amusement as he gave a small smile. Upon meeting Tora’s gaze, he allowed a giggle to escape him.

In his head, Tora died. A fucking. Giggle. It was the cutest thing ever, and no one could convince him otherwise. And that face? You already know Tora was going to draw it in detail later.

There was a second of silence, then both boys burst out laughing. Riley was a bit astonished himself; it was one of the only times he’d laughed— genuinely laughed— in months.

After a while, both boys lay on their backs, breathless as they stared at the ceiling.

“You’re fucking retarded, Nishimiya,” Riley said with a smile. He turned his head to look at Tora. He saw the brunette grin, then his head turned as well. “I know.”

Tora’s action had left about five inches of space between them. Their breath mingled in the space between them, warm and intoxicating.

Riley felt his heart beat harder in his chest as Tora looked at him.

What’s with the look?

Tora’s grin had faded into a smile, soft and warm. His features had done the same, practically radiating heat. And his eyes. Riley could lose himself so easily in those eyes….

Realizing his thought process, Riley was quietly flustered in his mind. He considered Tora off limits, as he was a model. He didn’t want to be on the front page of anything when they got together, never mind the drama it might cause.

Wait.

Did he just think when they got together?

Ugh!!

Riley quickly stuck out his arm, smooshing Tora’s face. That was the issue here. Tora. Not him.

Tora, surprised, let out a squeal. Riley used the same hand that was on Tora’s face to push himself out of Tora’s bed, applying more pressure to his perfect face.

NOT FUCKING PERFECT. STUPID. STUPID FACE.

He quickly moved through the room, flicking the light off then sliding under his covers, back to Tora.

“Night fuckhead.”

Tora snickered quietly, then said, “Goodnight baby,” as he lay facing Riley’s bed. He closed his eyes as he smiled softly.

Riley turned over to face Tora. “I’m not your baby.”

But as he gazed at Tora in the moonlight, he could tell he was already asleep.

× × × × ×

The next week the pair worked on a schedule. Wake up, morning routine, hotel breakfast, photoshoot. Sometimes they would go out into the city and explore, sometimes stay in a hang out. Either way was fine with both males. The time they spent together was precious.

With each passing day, Tora felt himself falling deeper and deeper in love with that beautiful boy. Riley Lait. Just thinking his name made him feel ecstatic.

On Friday, their last day in Norway, the pair set out, being picked up after their breakfast at the hotel. Soon, they arrived in a beautiful cliffside, the air smelling of the sea. As they stepped out of the vehicle, Tora gazed out at the sea in awe. He was clad in blue jeans and a t-shirt; knowing he was going to have to change, he didn’t bother with anything fancy.

Riley stepped out as well, standing beside Tora with a straight face. Unlike Tora, he hadn’t dressed in casual clothes. He’d decided to wear a light grey turtle neck, a leather jacket thrown on top of it. He wore the usual black pants and shoes so as not to look too dolled up, but really, he was worried.

Riley was feeling really, really felt self-conscious. If he was going to be around photographers and models, he wanted to at least look nice even if his attitude wasn’t. In fact, he’d been like this all week, but he always felt more secure in himself when he was around Tora. Surprising, right?

He sighed as he tucked his hands into the pockets of his leather jacket. Riley began surveying the grass swaying in the breeze, the slight cloudiness of the sky. Riley noticed they quite nearly matched his eyes.

“Isn’t it beautiful?” Tora said quietly. Riley looked up at him, seeing his bright eyes reflecting the scenery.

After a moment, Riley answered, “Yeah. Beautiful.”

But Riley wasn’t talking about the view.

The day went by rather uneventfully, though it had been a bit chilly. Riley, though kind of embarrassed about his self-consciousness, was glad he had worn the turtle neck.

Tora was also glad; Riley was absolutely stunning. Whenever he looked at the boy, even if he was doing something as simple as sitting in a chair playing games on his phone, Tora felt his heart do somersaults. He was genuinely surprised no one asked him for a picture.

He’d rather take pictures with Riley than the idiots he was working with. There was this blonde who he did not appreciate touching him, and on top of the suggestive comments, he was tempted to take a swim.

“C’mon hun… do some math with me~” She leaned onto him, making her eyes go half-lidded.

Tora was aware of how close Riley was, and how this woman’s face was uncomfortably close to him. He was aware that no one was paying attention to them, being busy with the numerous other models.

What he wasn’t aware of was how intensely Riley was glaring at the woman on him.

The woman continued speaking, her voice low and seductive. “Add a bed….” She began to move her hands up Tora’s chest. Riley was on his feet before he realized it.

“Subtract our clothes…” She bit her lip, and all Tora could think of was how her lips were wrong. They were the wrong shape, wrong size, wrong color. They weren’t Riley’s lips.

“Divide my legs,” she moved her face so close, Tora could feel her breath. Riley was marching over, the fire of hell emanating from his eyes. “And multipl—”

She was cut off by a hard shove to her chest.

Both parties were confused, but their shared feelings stopped there. Riley was now standing in front of Tora protectively, facing the thot who had previously been in the same place.

She looked down at the French, and her expression went from bewildered to frightened.

Riley looked terrifying, to say the least. The way his black hair framed his features was perfect for the effect, and on top of that, his eyes burned with fury, threatening to leak out into the world around him and set it ablaze.

Or, more favorably, the designer clad woman before him.
