Zach's Pov

What the hell? Did she just say the ''L'' word? That's wasn't supose to happen?! Oh,but what was supose to happen? We've been together for almost a week and yeah I really do care about the girl. She's beautiful and smart and she's got the kind of humor that makes you laugh even though you want to cry,but you laugh so hard you cry anyway. We made love, and now she was lying in my arms. She was so ..amazing. God, I never thought I would feel this way about a girl. I mean, when I'm not with her I feel friggin' empty. Like I don't know what to do. But right now, I don't know what to do. Because one little fuck up, and I just might lose her for good. And I don't know if I can live with myself if I ever let that happen.

My phone started to vibrate, I sighed.

''Hello?'' I mumbled.

''Zachariah, I need you to come down to office. We need to discuss some things.'' That hard voice, I knew exactly who it was.

''Why can't Daniel do it?'' I asked my father.

''Daniel is in Europe, he's studing architecture for the summer. You know, actually doing something with his life.''

I rolled my eyes, Daniel was Daddy's Favorite. He could do no wrong in my father's eyes. And Zachariah is suppose to grow up and be just like his older brother. I guess it was safe to say, I was the rebel in the family, the black sheep.

''I'll be there,soon.'' I told him and hung up.

I climbed out of Maria's bed, I kissed her cheek.

''I got to go take care of some things, I'll be back later.'' I told her.

I got in my car and drove uptown. I didn't know what my dad needed to discuss. I knew I would be pissed by the time he was threw with his first sentence though. That was our relationship, if you could call it that. We never did have much patience for one another really. But what happend, I wasn't prepared for. And I don't think anyone had that day for what was about to happen.
