Chapter 4

Owen's POV-

"Who were those 2 that just picked up Lexi?"Rick asked. "That was Lexi's older sister, Abby, and her boyfriend, Paul."Julie said. "That's Lexi's boyfriend?"I asked. "No that's her sister's boyfriend."Julie said. "Why do you care Owen, are you starting to have feelings for Lexi?"Rick asked. "No. I like that mystery girl."I told Rick. "Mysteryk girl?"Julie asked. "Owen heard a girl singing Titanium by David Guetta behind him when he was getting something from his locker. And when he turned around she was gone."Rick said. "And I'm going to find her."I said.

"Well I'll see you guys later."Julie said grabbing her bag and walking into the car that just pulled up. "Julie, so we're friends?"Rick asked. "Yes we're friends, but if you ask me out 1 more time then I'll tell my parents to put me in another school."Julie said getting into the car.

"How the hell am I supposed to try not to ask out Julie?"Rick asked after the car Julie got in drove away. "Easy, just don't ask her."I said. "It's not that easy Owen. How would you feel if you found your 'mystery girl' and she kept telling you no after you keep asking her out."Rick said. "When I do find my mystery girl me and her will be together until we both die."I said. "You really think you and this 'mystery girl' will be together forever?"Rick asked. "Our relationship will last for a year, shit it will last for the rest of our fucking lives."I said. "You don't know that Owen. What if she's already taken?"Rick asked. "I'll worry about that when I find her."I said. "Whatever you say Owen."Rick said. "Ok well, I gotta go see you tomorrow Rick."I told him. "See you later Owen."Rick said. We both grab our backpacks and walk in opposite directions.

Julie's POV-

I got in my mom's car and I immediately got my phone out and texted Lexi.

Me:Lexi.
Lexi:What?
Me:Owen did hear you sing.
Lexi:HE DID! How do you know?
Me:After you left Owen and Rick asked who Abby and Paul were.
Lexi:Ok.
Me:And I told them that Abby was your sister and Paul was her boyfriend.
Lexi:Ok.
Me:And Owen thought that Paul was your boyfriend, and I told him that Paul was Abby's boyfriend.
Lexi:Then what happened?
Me:Rick asked Owen "Owen why do you care are you starting to have feelings for Lexi?"
Lexi:Ok.
Me:Then Owen said "No I like that mystery girl."
Lexi:Ok.
Me: Then Rick told me that Owen heard a girl singing Titanium by David Guetta behind him when he was getting something from his locker, and that when he turned around she was gone.
Lexi:Fuck!
Me:Then Owen said that he is going to find his mystery girl.
Lexi:Fuck!
Me:What are you going to do Lex?
Lexi:I don't know.
Me:Well Owen will figure out eventually that you are his mystery girl.

10 minutes later we finally arrive at my house.

Me:I gotta go. I'll talk to you later.
Lexi:Ok, bye.
Me:Bye.

Once my mom and I get inside, I go to my room, I turn my phone completely off so it can charge. And I start doing my homework.

Lexi's POV- 

Once I finish eating. I went to the kitchen to throw away my food.

When I walked into the kitchen I saw dad sitting at the table with a bunch of papers spread out on the table. "Hey dad what are you doing?"I asked. "Paying the bills."Dad said. "How much are they making you pay?"I asked. "$1000"Dad said. "Oh ok. Where's Abby?"I asked him. "She went out with Paul."Dad said. "Of course."I said. "How about you and I watch a movie right now?"Dad asked grabbing the papers and putting them in a neat stack. "Sure, what movie?"I asked. "You pick."Dad said taking the papers out of the kitchen with him upstairs to his room.

An hour and a half later Abby walks in the living room when the movie is halfway finished. "You were gone a while."I said. "Paul and I went to a movie."Abby said. "What movie?"Dad asked. Before Abby could answer my phone vibrates. I take out my and I see that I got a text from a random number.

Unknown:Hey.
Me:Who is this?
Unknown:It's Owen.
Me:How did you get my number?

I go to my contacts and put Owen's number my phone.

Me:Just put your number in my contacts. 

Owen: Ok, and Julie gave me your number.
Me:Of course she did.
Owen:Ok, so I gotta go do something for my mom. I'll see you at school tomorrow.
Me:Ok.
Owen:Bye.
Me:Bye.

I turn my phone off and walk back upstairs to my room to charge my phone.

Before I put my phone on the charger I text Julie.

Me:Julie why did you give Owen my number?

Since Julie didn't answer after 20 minutes later I turn my phone completely off. I put my phone on the charger, and walk back downstairs to finish watching the movie with Dad.

Sorry for the short chapter I'm starting another story. I'll  promise the next few chapters will be longer.
