This all started when Keith was born you see the moment he was born his parents knew he was made for something great. Keith bore on the base of his spine a mark, a paw print about as big a cats paw proportional to his small infant form for when he was older to be the size of the average Great Danes paw. This birth mark was split half a vivid blue on his left, on the right a vibrant red split down the middle with a light lavender that mellowed our the two colors. Krolia knew that this was a sign that Keith was somehow linked to the voltron based on the fact that they were protecting one of its lions which was half the color marked on her son. She also knew that if Keith was to unlock his destiny with the blue lion she could not take him back to the blades. She knew that Keith was going to have to stay with his father. As Krolia left the planets atmosphere she could only hope that her son would never see the horrendous things that the universe had in store for him and she could only lie to herself and say that Keith's father would be able to protect him.
