Jeongin

It was now 8:15, meaning Jeongin had arrived 15 minutes early for his shift at the convenient store. He opened the door to the store, being greeted by a tall stranger he didn't recognize.

"Changbin is in the back," the male said.

"Ahh, thank you!" Jeongin smiled and walked towards the back, taking his coat off in the process.

"Changbinnie~ he called out, searching the different chairs for the older.

"I'm here," Changbin called, stepping out from behind a corner. There was two cups of coffee in his hand. He handed one cup to Jeongin, the younger returning the offer with a smile and eager hands.

"You're a little early so you can either chill in here with me or work for an extra 10 minutes," Changbin stated, placing himself on the couch. Jeongin opted to sit with Changbin.

"Also, the person at the register is Yunho, he's not that new but he started a month or so ago. He's really nice!" Changbin stated, seeing the curious glance at the door from the younger.

"Ahh," Jeongin said, "he's really tall."

"You're telling me," Changbin huffed, taking another sip of his coffee.

Jeongin giggles at the older and quickly stood up, walking over to his locker and grabbing the shirt he 'accidentally' left in it. He changed in the bathroom and put his other shirt in the locker, along with his jacket and wallet, opting to keep his phone on him.

Jeongin made his way over to the couch again, seeing he still had 5 minutes until his shift started. As he sat down, Changbin's phone buzzed. The older grabbed the device and groaned after a minute.

"What's wrong?" Jeongin questioned.

"Fucking, shit man, I don't have anyone to work his shift," the older whispered, more to himself.

"San just told me he couldn't work tonight, and I don't have anyone to fill in for him," Changbin groaned again.

"I could do it," Jeongin offered.

"Honey, no that's an 8 hour shift with yours there too, his shift is 12:30 to 3:30." The shorter stated.

"It's not that big of a deal, it is Saturday anyway." The younger said.

Changbin was about to protest again, but the other beat him to it.

"I finished my homework too so don't even say anything about that!" Jeongin sassed.

"Fine," Changbin huffed, "but your shift starts now so go take over so Yunho can go home." Jeongin rushed to the register.

"Hi I'm Jeongin," he introduced.

"I'm Yunho, nice to meet you." The older shook his hand, standing up right after.

"Woah you're so much taller than when you're sitting," Jeongin commented.

"Thanks," Yunho laughed, and walked behind Jeongin.

"Have a good shift," he said, before disappearing into the back room.

Jeongin sat down and waited for the first customer to come check out. He knew he'd be tired by the time his shift was over -or two shifts- but he knew it was fine, he could use the extra money anyway.
