after eating

"can we go home now?" i complained while they were all talking and laughing with each other.

"i can give you a ride home." jisung said to me while everyone continued on with each other.

"oh thank you!" i said getting up.

i looked back to see if anyone noticed i had left. the only one noticing was johnny. he was looking at jisung, watching his every move. i wonder why he looked like that. something was off about johnny. i was afraid to ask anyone. i'm better off staying quiet.

"could you tell me your address?" jisung asked me as we walked out to a car.

"sure, it's xxxx."

he began typing the address into his phone and when we got in the car, a route to my apartment showed up on the gps.

i looked out the window awkwardly, not knowing what to do. looking out the window, i noticed how different seoul was to my old town. the streets here always busy, back at home, at this time, everyone would most likely be at home. there are so many restaurants and places to go here, whereas, at home there was mostly just little homes, two restaurants, and a bunch of farms and farming land. instead of trees and nature, there were skyscrapers and glass buildings. people here ask me to do things. at home it would have to be me asking.

"so you guys are all friends?" i said, breaking the silence.

"yep."

"do you all live together?"

"um yeah, most of us."

"are you all from korea?"

"no."

"so you guys live without your parents around?"

"yeah. kinda."

"what do you all do for fun?"

"why do you need to ask so many questions?"

"i don't know, i'm just wondering."

"well you should ask all these questions to someone other than me. cause i don't care about anything you have to say."
