CHAPTER ONE: chocolate milkshakes and coffee stains
"PLEASE KASEY, COME WITH ME" June whined as she rested her head on her shoulder; making sure to pout tilting her head so Kasey could see it.
Kasey shrugged the girls head off her shoulders uncomfortable with the contact "No, I have tons of work"
She flicked through multiple pages of instructions of what to do, except she didn't really need them already understanding everything she needed to do so a trip to the coffee shop would not go down well with her future self.
"You barely leave this house, please Kase" June wouldn't stop pestering her until she said yes so there was no point in letting it drag on any longer. Kasey sighed before looking towards the June, who was now at the end of her bed, resting her head in the palms of her hands in anticipation.
"Fine" June squealed as she left Kasey to do her own thing closing the door behind her as Kasey sighed ripping the computer off of herself, closing the face of the laptop down in the process; pushing her glasses further up her nose as she got up from her comfy bed, moving towards her closet chucking on jeans, converse and some random top she had left on the ground that had been sitting there since god knows when.
But all was fixed when she sprayed some deodorant and perfume on herself before grabbing her phone; that was on 40 or so percent but she wouldn't be out long and left her room in an undeniably horrible state but she would clean it when her assignments were done.
June grimaced as her friend stepped out "Did you even change?"
"Yes, of course, I did." June chuckled anxiously debating whether she should continue this trip with her best friend. "Can we go now"
June jumped up extremely excited that she was getting her friend out of the house "Oh, yeah. I think it shuts in an hour so we won't be there long." She quickly walked past the girl, towards the front door leaving the younger girl in the comforts of her home as she looked up at the roof.
"Thank you, god" she whispered as she exited her house, locking the door behind her so no one could simply enter her house and hang out in there like it was theirs. Seeing June's silver Jeep sitting out the front, it was one of the worst cars out there but it had a place in the girl's hearts due to it being around them for so long.
June was already in the driver's seat, one hand on the wheel while the other one was fiddling around with the radio until suddenly music blasted out of the car. Causing the girl to jump and hit her head on the roof of the car, causing Kasey to double over laughing, throwing her head back as laughter left her lips, June just rolled her eyes as Kasey calmed down and climbed into the car.
