LUKE SIGHED AS he handed the apple worker the correct amount of money that June's iPhone cost as June stood beside him trying to figure how what drew him to smash her phone. She couldn't think of one reason for Luke to snap like that especially if he knew that it was June's phone, maybe he thought it was hers- no that wouldn't make any sense because he was on the phone with someone so surely they would have informed him of picking up the wrong phone.

So after buying the phone, they both agreed about how hungry they were before walking together to a coffee shop, they didn't talk much but only because June was going to bombard him with questions and he knew that she was wondering why suddenly her boyfriends best friend decided to pick up her phone and smash it.

After ordering their meals June spoke up "So, you didn't exactly tell why you smashed my phone" Luke wasn't surprised at the question, obviously it was going to come up at some point.

"I- uh- I c-called Kasey" June chuckled before leaning back in her chair, her hand running over her face quickly.

"Why, she doesn't like you" He wouldn't admit it but he felt a pain in his chest when the words flew out of her mouth, her words were said to hurt him. "Micheal told me that she tried to kiss you the other day, but Luke come on. She was drunk, she probably doesn't even remember." He hated the way he felt after finally hearing the truth, but it was further from the truth than he had thought. "She might stop hating you and be your friend but she will never love you"

June dropped a ten dollar bill on the table before grabbing her bag and looking at the boy "Thanks for the new phone" She quickly left the boy alone, as he let out a sigh but he grabbed his phone from his pocket, checking his contacts. A smile occurring upon his lips when his eyes settled on her name after he broke June's phone he had already memorized her number and added to his contacts.

Soon deja vu flowed through his mind as he called the girl, she didn't pick up immediately probably because of the unknown number that called her phone, but little did she know that it was the boy that she made quickly obsessed with her, just because she was like nothing he had ever met before but she was just out of his reach.

"Hello" Her voice sounded of pure confusion, as she sprayed some perfume on her but instantly regretted it as some of the sprays went into her eye, but she soon realized the no answer.

"Who is th-"

"Did you go" She hated how she knew exactly who it was as soon as the words left his mouth, she hated how he made her feel even though she knew she had to hate him, it was like a promise she made to herself almost as soon as he arrived at her booth, it seems like forever ago when it was only 4 to 5 weeks ago and the boy hadn't left her alone since.

A sigh left her lips, she looked at herself in the mirror. Her familiar room sitting behind her, with her suitcase that was now empty, the once plane ticket now ripped to shreds and in her bin.

"No, I realized that America isn't for me" He smiled to himself as he let out a chuckle before leaning back in his chair. "Also I felt like a certain somebody might have missed me not naming names but you" Even when the line went dead from her once again ending the conversation, a smile still stuck on his face, she hadn't left.

But something changed, even though you couldn't tell from the cheerfulness in her voice when she realized it was him. He had at least felt like he was getting somewhere with there but it was almost like, she decided right then and there that she hated him, nothing was for certain but it felt like the first night they met, the pure hatred in her eyes, her happy voice over the phone was masking her angered one she wanted to use. That's what caused him to lose the large smile from his face as he also dropped ten dollars on the table, just as their food got there. He left the cafe in a rush, he had the stupidest idea on his mind, would it work probably not but would she have a choice.

Soon Luke went into his apartment, that he owned by himself. Quickly grabbing a suitcase, and shoving most of his belongings. In his head he knew that Kasey would never see him as more of a friend so that's exactly what he was gonna be to her and if he could win the title soon to be best friend, after he packed he headed towards the girls apartment block that her parents once owned until they took off somewhere in Bali.

He quickly made his way to her floor, knocking on the door not getting an easier. He put his ear of to the door, hearing deadly silence
