A week after the Chenle's meeting with his father, nothing happens everything is normal until out of nowhere Jisung was kicked out of the basketball varsity team.
Everyone is baffled why is Jisung kicked out in the middle of the ASF championship. Even Coach Jongin couldn't give an explanation on how the school board decided to kicked him out.
The basketball team lost 2 games because Jisung isn't there. One more and they are out of the ASF.
The Council tried to help the basketball players but no to avail the school board threatens to suspend them if they continue to question the sudden announcement.
Chenle watched as Jisung broke down. Basketball is his passion the same way as dancing. Chenle cheered Jisung up going on dates and sleepovers.
Chenle thought that's the end until Jisung received a call saying their company is going bankrupt. One by one the Park's Enterprises branches and other business began shutting down, leaving Jisung's family nothing.
Jisung is stressed, the bags under his eyes and hollow cheeks.
Chenle decided it's time to stop when the school board decided to give an expulsion to Jisung because of happened with Pledis HS.
Coach Jongin holds the expulsion by a week until it is investigated.
Chenle calls his father and agreed to his term.
But he doesn't know what he will do with Jisung. The whole Council knows Chenle's plan and tried to stop him. But Chenle's crying and breaking down infront of them and they knew this is beyond their control knowing what Zhoumi can do.
After Chenle called his father everything came back to normal, Jisung came back to the varsity team and Park's Enterprises gain their business again. Jisung is beyond happy, doesn't even know Chenle did it for him.
Jisung pick Chenle up for their occasionally night walk.
Jisung holds Chenle's hand as they walk in the park. Jisung is talking enthusiastically about the Christmas break with Chenle.
Chenle is quiet waiting for the perfect moment.
As the moonlight dims, dark clouds hiding the night sky, as the thunder roars and lightning flash the sky.
"So purple dolphin do you want t-"
"I think we should break up Ji"
Chenle said as the roar of thunder is heard and flash of lightning soon after.
Jisung stops in his track and look at Chenle.
"W-what?" Jisung stutters.
Chenle let Jisung's hand go before stepping back.
"I think we should break up" Chenle said.
Jising gulps, anxiety pooling in him.
"W-why? Did I do something wrong?" Jisung asks.
Chenle just laughs bitterly and breathes before saying things he knows that is a lie for the sake of keeping Jisung safe.
"Everything about you is wrong"
No it's not, you're absolutely fucking perfect.
"Actually, everything I told you is a lie"
No, it's not I mean everything I said to you.
"I didn't loved you, hell I can't even stand it when I'm with you"
No, I love you so fucking much it hurts. I love being with you.
"N-no! You don't mean that!" Jisung shouted tears pooling in his eyes.
Small drops of rain begin to pour hitting the two as they stand still in the middle of the park.
Chenle laughs.
"You're so gullible Jisung ah. This is where all the fun dies what a pity. And I thought I'm going to have fun with you. But you're so boring"
"No!" Jisung said as tears stream on his face.
Chenle widen his eyes wanting to hug the younger and tell him he didn't mean what he said. He want to tell Jisung how amazing he is, that he is such an amazing boyfriend.
Seeing Jisung cries infront of Chenle, broke his heart. Jisung isn't the one who usually cries. Jisung is a strong headed kid that no matter what the problem is, he is meeting them head on, that no matter what happens he will stand his ground and fight. The usual stoic and cold Jisung is crumbling down infront of Chenle.
Chenle averted his eyes knowing his resolve will break down once he look at Jisung but he can't, he eyes his lover crumbling infront of him, thinking what he did wrong in their relationship when he did his best to keep Chenle happy.
Chenle just stares at Jisung looking at him with betrayal, anger, love, sadness and hurt in his eyes. Chenle could hear the younger's heart broke into a million pieces, but he held himself down, telling himself he need to do this for Jisung's safety.
Jisung sniffs and look at Chenle.
"Look at me and tell me you didn't loved me for one bit for all the months we've been together! Tell me that everything is a lie to you! Tell me Chenle! Tell me!" Jisung shouted as the drops of rain seems to get bigger.
"I didn't loved you. Everything is a lie. I wished I never met you" Chenle said with his heart breaking.
"Then why are you crying? Why are you crying saying you didn't loved me? Why are you crying purple dolphin? Why is your eyes look so hurt saying those words?" Jisung whispers.
Chenle touch his cheeks and it's wet, tears.
"I'm crying?" Chenle thought to himself.
Jisung walks up to Chenle cupping his cheeks looking him in the eye.
"Tell me you didn't love me for a split second. Come on look at me in the eye and say it to my face that you didn't love me, that everything about us is a lie. Come on purple dolphin tell me" Jisung whispers as tears streams down and rain drops hit his face.
Chenle just looks at Jisung as tears and rain drops stream down the younger's face.
Chenle shakes his head as the tears that he tries to hold back, started to stream down his face.
"Ji, I love you and I'm so sorry" Chenle whispers before walking away from Jisung.
Chenle run towards the car waiting for him as the rain pour like cats and dogs, like that one time Jisung and him caught in the rain.
As Chenle closed the door, he curls to himself and cries, sobs after sobs raked his chest as Kun drives away from the park, leaving Jisung there, alone and heartbroken.
