Started thinking,
Finished drinking.
Looking around me,
Contemplating.
Society norms,
Worming their way into my head.
It's really just a saying,
That we seem to ignore.
We stay away from.
Afraid to show our true colours.
That bothers me,
Keeps following B
C,
D,
E,
I'm fed up.
Feeling sleepy,
Lay down.
Be yourself they say,
Hash tag that bae!
Sun ray beaming on this trend.
People bending backwards,
For this to blend,
In.
But do we really,
Playing Billy,
When we are obviously Timmy.
Even with our friends,
Speaking according to them.
I'm around my ghetto friends,
Playing the part.
Speaking all thug when I'm not.
What's with that?
Who am I?
I hate speaking like this yet,
Orrrrr....
I'm trying to fit in.
Wing it!
Fried chicken.
KFC binging.
Off topic,
Have her in my pocket.
Lock it.
Switch back.
People still have their mask on,
Talking about taking that mask Off
Wrong!
What's it doing on?
Defense mechanism,
Walls built after her last hurt.
That never happened to Ernie and Bert.
I don't want to be a Clerk,
To anybody's life.
I'm captain of this plane.
Yeah I've made my mistakes,
But who could've been through,
What I've gone through.
(I say while hitting my chest.)
And become stronger,
As a result.
Still struggling,
But at least I'm walking.
Talking,
Mainly apologising,
For my shortcomings.
Drawn to the becomings.
What's for me is for me.
B!
All I'm saying,
Be yourself,
And stop preaching it,
Being all hypocrite.
Because when someone,
Is actually themself.
They hate.
Saying 'Ha you fell for the bait'
Just rating people,
From their looks,
Their status.
And not from their creativity.
Come on bite me!
Can't because my skin to hard.
These haters want you to follow The crowd,
Because they are the crowd.
Not one unique bone,
In their body.
Killing us like we are parasites,
No I'm not a Blite.
Right!
I'm bright,
Sorry,
I forgot,
I failed lower six.
But so what,
I got a future,
Still,
Yeah I'm paying my bills.
That's your riddle to solve.
School not the only source,
To draw from.
YouTube is my university.
Celebrating 10 years Anniversary.
Be yourself they say,
Yet want you
To follow their system.
Babylon.
'Jah Rastafaria'
Try again son.
Have us sitting in classrooms,
That resemble factories.
Training us for their offices.
Capitalism.
Marxism,
Cancer.
No cure.
Our people don't,
Even know it's a cycle.
Use to riding the bicycle.
Round and round we go.
From now on I'm taking the bus.
But I try not to cuss.
So how do we stop this curve,
In an otherwise straight world?
Have the,
Creative people suffering.
Have to make it big,
To get a little something.
Run down thing.
Artist becoming dentist,
For the cha ching.
Googling the answers no help.
Next I'll try Bing.
Questions for a higher power.
Creation shows,
There is a Creator.
So I'll ask Him when I die.
Inevitable.
Believe the incredible,
Impossible.
I'm finished,
But this idea just started.
