"So where did you move from?" Asks Chris "Detroit. I loved it there I didn't have many friends. I was friends with a girl named Susan"I say. "So who are your friends?" I ask. "There's a group of us" she starts. " There's me and my boyfriend, Will, there's Zeke and Shauna they're dating, then there's Marlene, Lynn who is Shauna's sister, Uriah who is Zeke's brother and then there's 4 he moved here 3years ago. "Four?" I ask. " I don't even know" she laughs. "So were you going out with anyone before you left?" "Kind of. I was going out with a guy but he moved away a while ago. It was very sudden all he left was a note he said his dad got a job offer or something he said he wouldn't go out with anyone else until he came back to me"I say sadly. " Aww that is so sweet. I'm sorry" she says giving me a side hug.
"Hey I have an idea! You and your friends could come to my house after school!" I say. "My parents will be working late and my brother will be studying"
"Ooh that's a good idea" she replies. I scribble my address on a bit of paper and hand it to her. "I'll text everyone and tell them to come" she says while texting the others. She clearly isn't paying attention to where she is going and walks straight into the door with an "oof". I almost start crying I'm laughing so hard. A-are you okay" I manage to get out. She just nods in response also laughing.
"Okay everyone can go" she says with a smile. "Tell them to bring bathing suits. I have a pool in my back yard" I add. She texts them again, this time standing still. I guess I'm meeting everyone then.
