Apollo had never been more distressed for another person that wasn't family.
Well, scratch that, he'd never been more distressed for one of his friends.
Apollo had in fact been distressed before, extremely distressed actually.
When his boyfriend and his brother were over and his mom shot them both.
He'd been so very distressed for them like he was in this very moment.
Last night Lydia and Jackson had been attacked by something, Lydia never showed up at school that morning.
Jackson however was on the other side of the classroom on the edge of his seat.
Danny could feel the anxiety rolling off Apollo from beside him.
"A, are you okay?"
Danny asked placing his hand over Apollo's.
The Argent boy jumped taking a sharp breath.
"Yeah, yeah, sorry."
Apollo forced a smile a shaky breath falling past his lips.
"Everyone start reading chapter nine. Mr. Stilinski, try putting the highlighter down between paragraphs. It's chemistry, not a coloring book."
Apollo rolled his eyes at Mr. Harris, the most despised teacher in the school.
"Hey Danny, can I ask you a question?"
Stiles leaned forward as everyone started reading.
"No."
Danny didn't look up from his book as Apollo rolled his eyes.
"What is it?"
Pollo rose an eyebrow at the boy.
"Um, did Lydia show up in homeroom today?"
Stiles clicked the cap on his highlighter as he spoke.
"No."
Apollo told him with a frown.
"Danny, did Jackson tell you what happened?"
Stiles asked the tanned boy.
"He- He wouldn't tell me."
Danny sighed as Apollo shook his head, silently saying Lydia and Jackson wouldn't speak to him either.
"But your their best friends. One more question, do you two find me attractive?"
Stiles rose an eyebrow at the two.
Danny furrowed his eyebrows at the boy, rolling his eyes before turning back to his book.
Apollo however smirked leaning in closer to Stiles.
"Yes."
Apollo smirked before turning back to his book and ignoring Danny's scoff.

"He wants us to wait."
A fellow hunter scolded Kate as she and her nephew stood outside of the Hale house.
"I don't want us to be here at all."
Apollo glared at the two, his black mask around his neck.
"Then why are you here sweetheart?"
Kate smirked at her nephew, the two more like frenemies then family.
"Someone has to manage your immaturity Kate."
Apollo hissed as Kate clenched her jaw unholstering her gun.
"Try it."
Apollo growled as he quickly loaded an arrow, the tip of it hitting Kate's chin as he held the string to his bow back.
"I dare you."
Apollo glared, itching to let the string go.
"You're growing up buttercup."
Kate laughed, stepping back as if nothing had happened.
She skipped to the front door of the house kicking it in.
"Kate."
Apollo glared sternly.
"What?"
She glared back almost daring him to argue again.
"No ones home let's just go."
Apollo insisted.
"He's here. He's just not feeling particularly hospitable."
Kate grinned looking around.
"I wouldn't be either if you were in my house- oh wait-"
"Enough Apollo."
Kate sighed stomping her foot like a child.
"Maybe he's out burying a bone in the backyard."
The other hunter laughed.
Kate and Apollo both gave him a blank stare of annoyance.
"Really? A dog joke? If you wanna provoke him say something like, too bad your sister bit it before she had her first litter. Too bad she howled like a bitch when we cut her in half!"
Derek suddenly jumped out attacking Kate.
Kate took out her electro stick holding Derek to the wall.
"This one grew up nice, I don't know whether to kill it or lick it."
Kate chuckled.
"How about you let him go."
Pollo's eyes quickly snapped back and forth between Kate and Derek.
"Nine hundred thousand volts. You were never good with electricity were you? Or fire-"
"Kate enough-"
The blonde Argent spun on her nephew hitting him with the electric weapon.
Derek gaped as Apollo fell to the ground abruptly, none of the others making a move to help him.
"Which is why I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. And, well, maybe we can help each other out. Yes, your sister was severed into pieces and used as bait to try to catch you."
Kate continued on like nothing had happened.
"Unpleasant, and frankly, a little too Texas chainsaw massacre for my taste, but quite true. Now, here's the part that might really kick you in your new balls-"
"S-Stop it Kate."
Apollo breathed out, still unable to sit up.
"God Apollo shut up, I'm monologuing."
Kate rolled her eyes at the boy.
"We didn't kill her. You think I'm lying?"
Kate teases Derek, kicking down Apollo as he tried to push himself back up.
"Wouldn't be the first time."
Derek glared at the woman, nervously looking to Apollo.
"Sweetie, why don't you just listen to my heart and tell me if I am. Okay? We - didn't - kill - your - sister. Do you hear that? There's no blips or upticks.
Just the steady beat of the cold, hard truth.
Found bite marks on your sister's body, Derek."
Apollo finally made it to his feet glaring at his aunt.
"Give it a rest Kate!"
The woman, without looking back at Apollo, loaded her gun and aimed it at him.
Derek gulped as Apollo froze his jaw clenched.
"What do you think did that? A mountain lion?
Why aren't we helping each other out?
You might as well admit what you've been guessing all along, which is; The Alpha killed your sister.
And all you have to do is tell us who he is, and we'll take care of it for you. Problem solved, everybody goes home happy. Unless, you don't know who he is either."
The look on Derek's face gave it away all to easily.
"Wow. Guess who just became totally useless?"
Apollo bit his lip taking a step closer.
This time Kate spun around, the gun pressed against Apollo's forehead.
"Stop it Kate."
"Leave."
Apollo held his ground not flinching.
"Leave or I shoot you."
Kate hissed, Apollo again stayed still.
"Fine, leave or I hit Derek here with another wolfsbane bullet."
The blonde grinned wickedly.
"Kate don't-"
"Apollo it's okay. Go."
Derek noticed Apollo's distressed look.
"Apollo,"
The boy looked into the wolf's green eyes.
"Please go."
Apollo hesitated before leaving the house with a huff.

As he left the woods Apollo wished he'd shot Kate when he had the chance.
